In this video, Edmunds' own Mark Takahashi gets a spin behind the wheel of the new all-wheel-drive Toyota Camry to see how it handles snowy Utah terrain, where added traction makes a big difference. This 2020 Toyota Camry all-wheel-drive model is one of the few AWD sedans available today and marks the first time Toyota has offered an AWD Camry since 1991.
See how the 2020 Toyota Camry AWD compares to the Subaru Legacy and Nissan Altima with Intelligent AWD: www.edmunds.co...

"If you don't need a larger crossover, go with a sedan" Bro, the Camry at 192" is larger than most crossovers. The foot or so extra in height is peanuts compared to the length which is what really impacts dense navigation environments (parking in cities, etc)

It is surprising that this AWD is not available for the V6 Camry. Still a very nice car though. Being a Toyota you know it will run for freaking ever.

Why do they test vehicles on compact snow. When snow falls it doesn’t become compact. We need to see videos that are in deeper snow. Anyone can drive over compact, unless you live in Vancouver BC, then even rain becomes a problem for some drivers.

This Toyota SE AWD looks awesome. Definitely better looking than any variant of the polarizing look of the Accord. The Accord may be your better pick but sales speaks for itself that more people prefer the reliability of a Toyota.

Your comment fails to account for Camry fleet sales, and also the fact that the Accord Sport trim is objectively a stunner in the aesthetics area.

Lmk if you still can drive either a Subaru or a audi from 30 years ago. I'm sure most have been recycled because they are crap products. Toyota does things differently. They won't be the first to implement a new tech. No they wait until ALL the bugs are out before they give them to consumers. Because they care. Sure we had to wait but now the product is solid and will be here for the future. They think ahead while others just think about ripping of customers because they put in tech that's faulty and untried and untested. Just my opinion.

You said: “Camry is not fun to drive” - I disagree. Camry has an impressive composed feel to it. XLE gives a nice comfort and luxurious feel. The cargo is huge, the length has never caused me pain in city parking. My complaint is why Toyota didn’t stick with the beautiful Galactic blue/green color they had in 2018. Best I’ve seen when combined with macadamia softex interior and a panoramic roof.
@aluisious

The Camry does feel well composed. I enjoy driving to work in it, as much as one can enjoy driving to work, and my last car was a CTS V-sport. You have to appreciate it for what it is, a very well designed economy sedan. The handling beats the pants off a Ford Fusion or Taurus I used to drive as company cars. Honestly it's just as good as an F30 BMW 328i I drove over the Sierras.

Owned an early 2000's Camry with the v6. That thing would throw your head to the seat when passing someone. Very unexpected to have that much power out of nowhere. It's smooth ride, power and quiet cabin puts to shame the newer Camry's that just feel....cheap.

This Toyota Camry is so beautiful, it would be nice if Honda Accord’s came with a SH-AWD option. Honda should take a page from the Subaru Crosstrek and Toyota Corolla Cross playbook by building a lifted AWD Hatchback Honda Civic. Call it the Honda Ballade

Yea it will drive just fine with Awd on top of compacted down snow. Let’s see it go through an unplowed street or parking lot where ground clearance becomes an issue as well. You know, like in the real world where you get out of work and nothing has been plowed yet but you gotta get home.

Nothing more than a sales guy. He assumes the car is the only thing giving him traction. The tires had nothing to do with it apparently. Second, all reviews show only flat terrain when showing us the control in snow. I have on long hill to drive down on my way to the store. I can not find any one who is willing to tell me if going down a long hill is no problem or should be avoided. It's amazing how many of "reviewers" just tell you what we already know. And then finally, like most utuber's we watch him drive the car, not watch the car. WTF? Subscribe? What a joke.

@enigmaPL Sure, because car guys ALWAYS buy weird, expensive cars brand new instead of trolling for deals on AutoTrader, right? That must be why the streets are positively overflowing with manual CTS-V wagons and Chevy SS’s. Yeah, right.
