Lovely review. I’m considering to buy a CVT Altis. Needed some advice : 1) Does it feel too low? I felt the 2008-2013 to be very low. If you can compare? 2.) Is the ride quality bone jarring at the front? Does the rear stay planted at highway speeds with load or it bounces off? 3.) Rubberband Effect? 4.) sporty ? Fun to drive or not?
Thanks for your valuable comment, 1. It is quite low , where u need to be carefull is at quite huge speed bumps . 2. Ride quality is perfectly balanced, rear stays planted , doesn't sway and a very good suspension set up at the rear too and most comfy reclined rear seats with ample leg and knee room 3. Haven't noticed 4. Very sporty and most fun to drive cvt, just drive one and you would know wat i mean! Go and get ur altis soon!!👍✌🏻😅
Altis's ride quality is something that only the Octavia matches, it had one of the best rude qualities in the segment. I had the 2009-2013 model year, great car lot's of fun to drive. The spre parts like the suspension control arms, breaks etc can be a little costly. Also no issues in terms electronics all worked flawlessly, even the headlamp washers.
Hey. Long time. I bought a car under your guidance. My Altis CVT 2017 works just fine. I'm having issues with the running cost as the petrol is priced at Rs 105/- Planning to upgrade to CNG as Toyota owners are happy using CNG. Is it advisable with the CVT gearbox?
Good job bro...just get a good camera...it gets dark when you step inside even though it's daytime. And then the position of the camera when you drive is not good. It would be good if you can place POV on your head level. Tell more info about engines like Bhp and Torque and exact timing of 0-100 Km/hr. Explain more about infotainment systems. If you can add the crash test rating that would be good too because nowadays everyone started to look for safer cars. Great work 👍
Brother I am also planning to buy a used carolla Altis petrol automatic 2016 model , is it a good car to drive for next 3,4 years. Pls guide, thanks in advance.
Thanks for review. I’m planning to buy used Altis (exactly the one you are driving) which has ran 90,000 kms. I’m little confused if it’s good to buy something which has already ran so much. Your point of view in this?
I am also planning to get one cvt 2016. Toyota has the most reliable engine in India, so this 90k is nothing for its capability. Any idea about fuel economy? 6.2 per ltr is very low
90k is nothing for this car. It can run more than 3lakh km without any problem. It's one of the reliable car in this segment. What is the quoted price? I recently bought one with 65k km on the odo.
What’s premium in India is pretty much standard in the U.S. The funny thing is, that in India, a Camry is labeled as a luxury sedan. That would be Lexus, in the US. Foreign carmakers need to up their game in India.
Brother I am getting a Toyota carolla Altis petrol automatic 2016 model for 5.5 lac , 43000km should I consider it as iam not in mood to buy a new car , would buying this car in 2023 good choice, I want a low maintenance reliable car.... Thanks in advance One more question should i buy Altis automatic petrol or diesel one .
I own a petrol automatic, driven 80k, 9 yrs old. Zero maint and reliable. Performance and mileage also is good. Go ahead with even a 5/6 yr old car 50k.
I have the same car, my wheel bearing is worn out and need to replace it. Unfortunately, ASS says they will replace the whole wheelbearing hub, which costs 22k. Is it possible to change on,y the bearing at local garage?
Reclining seats available in all model or specific on CVT only in old corrolla automatic air vents available any Idea what's the maximum safest top speed of this car
@@solvinmotovlogs4105 thank you . But I heard that toyota service cost is usually less approx 6 to 7 thousand. Then why your car maintenance costs are 40 to 50 k
I had told him the whole maintanence including wear and tear of break pads and so on. It also includes on how much the vehicle is driven , and the maintainability ratio would vary accordingly. The amount i said is on the higher side only.
Yes , you can get 14 kmpl if u do not have traffic and cruise at 80-90kmph at 7th gear. You can definitely get 14.kmpl. But that's very difficult in altis as it is a very sporty vehicle to drive you would never get down 120kmph or so in highways 😂
My corolla altis VL gives me 8 - 9 kmpl in bonnet to bonnet traffic. 11 kmpl in moderate traffic and on highways, it gives somewhat between 18 to 22 kmpl with cruise control on off. I know, it's hard to believe, but it's true.
