Thanks for all your videos. As someone who hasn't worked on cars before they're proving to be invaluable when I need to carry out work on my mr2. Do you think the downpipe can be changed without removing the bumper? I have a decat downpipe and had to have the original cat fitted for the mot. The cat appears to have a leak somewhere along it so I was thinking of going decat again and fitting the original just for the mot. I got a garage to do it last time but would do it myself in future. Depending on the amount of work involved each time I have to swap it over I might just buy a new cat and sell the downpipe. Thanks again for the vids.
The only reason the bumper had to come off was for me to get more access to the oxygen sensor, which had galled . If you can extract the oxygen sensor, no need for bumper removal
@@andrewsparey697 thanks for your reply. I've definitely noticed a dip in power and miss the sound of the exhaust without the cat. I'll go back to the straight pipe and swap it over at mot time.
