Awd is not 4wd-there are pros and cons to both.I have the awd 03 rav4,I seriously love this car-it is a pure joy to drive! The last dozen or so cars I've had, were sports cars,(I'm in my sixties),but the truth of the matter is,for most driving you do,you really have no use for the high speed and handling capabilities a sports car gives you, plus there a pain to get in and out of,your visibility isn't that good, they're so low you scrap on stuff all the time
gen2 had a torsen diff in pre-facelift models. This is a post-facelift model, like mine, this model lost the torsen diff and gained the electronic stability control
Bad angle, only 85kW, road tyres, mud...The car is great, but you have to put some thought into it.. Definitely a great choice. It can handle a lot. If I didn't have a CRV, I'd have a Rav4.
Thinking and using my brain..I guess it didn't make sense in literal translation as they say in our country 🙂 I have to think where to drive this car or if I'd rather go around an obstacle...It's not a full offroad..But it's a great car for light offroad and on road .
@@davidmarques8448 The car is reliable...Especially in the petrol version..It's just a bit smaller compared to the CRV and I find the CRV more comfortable..As with any older Japanese SUV, beware of the overly rusty chassis.
