I was super surprised with the sound!! Literally quiet as can be out on the highway. But if I'm in boost or sport mode, the Supra just rips! Cant wait! Even with a downpipe there still shouldn't be any drone.

stock exhaust with a catless downpipe is the best setup for this car right now. Aftermarket exhausts make a tin can sound with a downpipe

I think the opposite of you lol. Stock exhaust with a downpipes sounds cheap to me. They are loud with some crazy pops. But the tone while accelerating sounds bad. lol to each their own

this new supra is gorgeous. For me I like it better than the c8 corvette, something throws me off the c8 with the looks of it . Maybe seeing it in person would make a difference

C8 Corvette is pretty cool in person. I've had the chance to drive it a bit more. But I think I prefer the Supra over it.

Should take your gtr to a dyno on day and find out the numbers it makes in pump, and then get it tuned for e85 that would be a good video

Depends on what sound you want! I am going with the Touring Resonated again on my new Supra. Just such a clean sound. Track could get a bit loud. But I'd say touring non resonated could be a sweet spot if you want loud but not annoying. Does the AWE Resonated keep the valves more comfort/sport mode? Or do you loose those and just have to rely on the transmission/engine modes

Yeah this has no valve. So the sound difference is the engine tuning between modes. Sounds really good tho in both mods. Basically its a tad louder in sport and you get all the pops

No. It sounds about the same in both modes since there is no valve. Sport mode just adds the pops to the exhaust. I later swapped this for the Magnaflow exhaust. I liked that better since it retained the factory valve. So there was a drastic difference between normal and sport. This did sounds really good tho! But the active setup is nicer for sure. No drone either even being straight piped

lol this is probably one of the quietest exhaust systems available for the Supra. If you're not in boost, its low volume, but a better tone than stock

The pops are all from the engine tuning. So the 2.0 wont ever get as loud as the 3.0. But the 2.0 with tuning can make some louder noises too. You'll want a downpipe to really amplify it tho

The engine tuning gives it all the pops. Sounds great! Like the logo on it. Blow off valve nice wish I had one. The electronic exhaust management system probably best option on the car. They hit it out of the park with that Toyota BMW who ever. @djtringale

The exhaust valve? The AWE kit deletes the stock valve. So the Sport mode just makes it louder with the pops. Heres a video were I show that the stock valve is pretty much a gimmick. The tuning is what makes it louder. No. If you get into tuning thats when you might get some hassle with warranty. But technically they can't void it.

That way people interested in an exhaust will know exactly how to install it. 2nd vid to purely show the before and after sounds at various angles. That way ppl can get a good idea of the true difference in sound. And then the 3rd vid of me talking about what it’s actually like. To me an exhaust is an important mod, and this is why I started filming YT videos 🤷🏻‍♂️. This is something I really love showing. I’ve done it with every car I’ve owned

smitty4699 The thing is, it’s not loud and obnoxious. Like I said in the vid, normal driving it sound very tame and stockish. Only when you’re flooring it’s is when the sound amplifies. So it’s the best of both worlds 😉

🤦🏻‍♂️that's why this set up is great .. not suuper loud but a beautiful refined inline 6 note. AWE Touring is the BEST. Myself I would keep downpipe stock and just remove the fake sound onboard.
