Just got a tune from them through Chris Taylor Racing. Chris checked the model number and serial number of the ecu before letting me send it to make sure they could flash it. Some Yaris ECUs cannot be flashed. I'm very pleased with the results.

@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic VR intake manifold, VR Fuel Rail, 1ZZ throttle body, 1zz injectors, CPT cold air Intake, weapon-r 421 headers, FTG Flashed ECU, Ralco Short throw shifter, 15 inch alloy wheels off an old Miata m1, Adlerspeed suspension kit. I want to piece together an oil cooler and install an oil catch can in the near future.

I can't hear what you say inside the car. Ftg tuning is the company that flashes you say? Is there any way to get street tunes?

Sorry for the less than ideal audio inside the car, the GoPro mic is not nearly as good as my phone. If you listen on a computer or another device it may come through more clearly. Yes, FTG is the tuning company. I believe this is the only reflash they offer for the Yaris as there is only so much you can do with the stock ECU. Their email is in the video description so feel free to email them for more in-depth inquiries as I do not want to speak on their behalf as to what they can and cannot do.

I just got my tuned ecu today in the mail. Any info i should know before i swap ecu's? I drive a 2010 Yaris 4door hatch.

Hi there! Glad to hear you're upgrading! The main thing is to disconnect the battery (both positive and negative) for quite a bit before you install the ECU. You should leave the battery disconnected while installing the ECU then after it is installed reconnect the battery terminals. Other than that it should be plug in and play!

@@TheInteriorAutoMechanic Thanks for your reply. I got the ecu back but I haven't installed it yet. Correct me if i am wrong, the reflash lowers VVti to 3500 rpm, 7500 rpm red line?

@@thesimplyteez I do not believe that it lowers vvt engagement. I believe it only advances timing and increases the redline.

@@thesimplyteez if you plan on going above 6500rpms I would recommend doing valve springs as well so you don't get valve float.
