What? Something actually happened? Am I watching the right show? (It really has been a train wreck lately...) This also takes care of showing off the new set.
I loved Mark's reaction to winning the car. Instead of jumping AROUND THE SET, he DIVED RIGHT IN THE CAR. (and just as Lanisha was going to get the "Winner" License Plate, nontheless.) That has to be the BEST reaction I've seen from any contestant so far this season.
Except in cases where zero is the NEXT TO LAST digit, such as they sometimes do in the "Money Game" -- the type of price that Bob Barker used to refer to as "El Cheapo".
well tbh, the car wasnt a hard one. the 1 and 0 are almost guarenteed to be in the spots they were. that leaves 6 combos. he had 3 guesses. Thus it was 50/50 to win the car going into the last one
That's a tough game to win, the key is to get those first two prizes out of the way as quickly as possible to give yourself more chances to guess the car price
Let's see. The tea maker (really? A TEA maker?) is $30 or $50. So you can guess twice. THe BBQ? $630? $680? $360? $380? $830? $860? So EVEN IF YOU KNOW the rule, you could STILL burn EIGHT chances. Sorry, this is one of the harder games to win.
I've never bought or seen the price of a BBQ. If you look at it and think it'll be under $400 (360 or 380), which is cheaper than a game console, you deserve to lose those chances. Plus, knowing prices is the whole point of - what's this show called again..? Oh, right. The _Price_ Is _Right_
It's not the same since the lovely beautiful Miss Lanisha Cole left TPIR. Still can't believe it's been 3 years since she left. But at least am still seeing you doing different projects now a days. Keep doing your thing Miss Cole & on your next journey. Best wishes beautiful.
That young feller dove into that car because he knew he had just won himself a brand new ice tea brewing machine. Who doesn't love a tall glass of delicious southern style sweet tea?
@markrumschik Congrats! :) Though I must say you could have had an extra chance to play for the last two prizes had you known that prizes in this game always end in a 0; rarely do they ever end in a 5; even rarer still in anything else. ;)
I always get so frustrated watching this game...the first prize should only take "one chance" the second one, usually two, then you have 7-8 chances for the car. If you are not sure, you have to ignore advice from your family/friends and listen to the audience members that know...there is always a few of them that are spot on!💲
"This also takes care of showing off the new set." The set they currently have is far superior and more up-to-date looking than the one shown in the above clip.
I'm sure at the time of this shooting, the same could be said about that set as apposed to those of the past. The Price is Right has been around since the mid 1950s and was far different back then, in every respect.
I remember when Bob was hosting this game one time they screwed with setting up the game and when he removed the cover for each digit group the correct price was already displayed for each item. Oops! They gave the contestant all of the prizes (and that backstage setter-upper person got a stern talking to!)
@khidak1 I should have mentioned Mark at the end of my Pricing Game Recap for tonight, but I was frantically rushing on getting in the results, and give him the nickname "The M.V.P. of The Price is Right."
Hi to those crazy insane people good luck your really going to need it price is right is a rip off most people tell me they can't even get on the show anyways peace and love
It's really not a miracle. If you know this game and that everything ends in a 0 and that the Ford Focus is valued around $17,000 then you can easily get the price in 3 tries.
If the car's windows weren't down like they were and he would've smacked right into the front window trying to jump through it, I would've laughed. Lol!! I know that that sounds a bit mean, but I'm just being honest.
@chicagoboy87 Ford Focus Sedan...Uhm..It's about 17,995 O_o Just a BASIC Ford Focus Sedan 2012, is $18K. So, for a 2011, It would be about 17995. o_o Though, it IS Price is Right. So, you would be close at 17690! Lol.
