Taemi, I am a beginner and very much excited that came up on your video. I am trying to do a batman logo which is also our school logo. I'm having trouble with the release compound step. You done a great job explaining the steps but I still need a little more training. I will keep the video to reference back to.

lisamariemlt well, kinda. if you are going to layer HTV, you only want to "tack" the layers. Press the first for a couple of seconds, remove carrier and repeat until then last layer, then you want to press the last layer for the full time. this will help with shrinkage.

Very helpful; thanks for sharing. I'd like to know if there's a way to cut card stock without using the "sticky" Cameo may because my card stock stick to it and the adhesive on the Cameo mat is stronger than the transfer tape when cutting other materials???
BloodSweatnBassOutside you really need a mat when cutting cardstock to keep everything together. You can make it less sticky by taking a pillow case, your jeans, or something that doesn't have and fuzz, and place it onto the mat and remove. Keep doing it until it's not so sticky. The more you use the mat the less it will be sticky. If it loses too much of the stick, you can run warm water over it and rub lightly. Or use a non lotion or oil type wipes and clean it, let it dry and it brings some of the sticky back. You can also use Cricut mats with the Silhouette machine. They make one that has lite tack for working with paper. The grids don't line up but you can lay it over the Silhouette mat and trace it around the border with a sharpie.
Wowi do not have my silhouette at this time but looking at your video i think when i get it i will know more can you you do a picture of a person like that 😊

Terry W if I understand the comment correctly, yes you would layer each color onto the transfer paper or tape and then move it. You can do it onto the surface also, I just find it easier with the tape. I also use registration marks.

Robin Smith yes, you could. I would either find a font that is similar, trace a darker image, or change the colors. The white and gray would be hard to trace in the Silhouette software.
It was a logo a friend create for his team and when I select trace it only do some of the image. It's a picture of a scorpion. It not cutting all and it leave out the second color.
Thank you for your prompt response. I have a Janome Artistic Edge and I love it. It cuts super fast and isn't very noisy, but there are very few videos on it to learn from:-( I'm thinking of buying a Silhouette.
Lynn Couch no problem. I'm not familiar with that machine. I have a Graphtec, a Laserpoint II, and a Cricut also. But always use the silhouette or graphtec
