Love both bands. But I much prefer the earlier stuff from both groups. Slight edge to Van Hagar on this matchup for me.

Lonely Is the Hunter vs Summer Nights Is an interesting match up..... while Lonely Is the Hunter is my least favorite song on Animalize, I think Summer Nights is absolutely terrible And I gotta say, I think that line in Summer Nights about Sammy making love with human toys makes "put my log in your fireplace" sound like Shakespeare lol

Alex Van Halens drums are great on 5150... Animalize would get 1 that is heaven's on fire way high above inside which has to be the worst song ever. My two cents VH wins the rest.
