The atmosphere is much better than the new trackmania, the new one is a bit bland. Don't get me wrong, I like the new one a lot, but I think it lacks personality.

To believe the graphics has aged so well, really is an astonishing accomplishment that Ubisoft has created with this game to date, and we can't forget the introduction to Console, which truly did give new players a taste of how insane an arcade racing game should truly feel, being able to have your own creativity

Finally, this is why I loved United, because you were able to do stuff like this

I have never been excited for a highly underrated game series ever. I'm glad Trackmania is making the jump to consoles as well as keeping on PC roots. Secondly, I want to find the person that came up with the art in this game, because it looks beautiful and cool. It's also making the jump to '80's and '90's culture of sky blue and pink objects being hip. Lastly, I hope that they also add a skin editor like what they did in the Trackmania 2 games, and make it like the track editor where you can share it on the game workshop. I also hope that the UGC for the game is cross-platform, but I wonder how they are going to do that. Will it be integrated with Steam for easy sharing? Who knows. TL;DR , Very excited, can't wait to get it!

Shame there was never any updates, customization options, new music, track themes, singleplayer modes like Puzzle or Platform of the old days, naming your saved tracks, lighting fixes (things can be blotchy), track pieces (PC received more), selectable build area size, car horns, or even DLC. Why did you abandon it on day one?

Hmm, I might be hyped to get this! From what I can see, there are new, colorful billboards, which I like, new mechanics, always good and most importantly: many environments, like Sunshine and United! It's 40 euros, but I have a great feeling it's totally worth it!

I'm not big on racing games (I play mario kart lol) but this looks fast as hell and the visuals look really nice. I might be interested

I posted this to a forum and decided to paste it over here to voice my thoughts, just going to say that before starting off. Okay... Finally a bit of a game i'm familiar with. The Trackmania series is a series i've played since... i don't know, somewhere in 2007, when i first played the TM Sunrise demo and fell in love with it. I've always liked the series, for it's enormeous creativity, fanbase, PC support, and so on. It's always really been a series focussed on popularizing PC gaming and staying true to it, and enabling itself to be widely played by anyone, regardless of wether their system could run it. The games always had a wide range of graphical options to choose from to make it run fine, and TMUF is a game that runs fine on my computer without a lot of problems, despite having the resolution quite low. TrackMania Sunrise however can run in full resolution with nearly highest graphics without lagging (a lot). That's why i was so disappointed when they said they were benchmarking TrackMania 2 Canyon on a really crappy desktop PC even worse than the one i have, and that they said it ran smooth. Finally got the game, it lagged a ton even in low res with lowest graphics. Then they ran a free demo on TrackMania 2 Stadium, which is the first HD remake of Nations i talked about. I uninstalled it the same day. Even when i'd turn the HD textures off, it ran horrible. Keep in mind that they benchmarked it on a shitty old desktop PC! They already threw their everyone-can-connect-no-matter-what mentality out of the window, but what the heck is this new game? Looks like they took the previous Trackmania, Trackmania: Stadium which was a HD reskin of Trackmania Nations Forever, which was a reskin of Trackmania Nations, then added some new objects to it. I do like those other two environments featured in the trailer though. I can't really grasp why it's named the same as the horrible DS version the game had. Weird. But what happened to PC gaming? Why is it on PS4 and XBox? They've always profiled it as a title that existed solely for pushing PC gaming along and for being on PC so that they had a wide community range, and now they've decided to throw it onto two not enormeously well selling consoles as well? I just don't get it. Oh, and as i said, ofcourse it's their millionth Stadium reskin, only they've thrown in some more objects to fiddle with. Not very spectacular. It looks spectacular, but uh, it's not even related to Nadeo's values anymore. And those simple values of making it a PC game only and making it playable for everyone everywhere are very, very important to me.

Hoping this game has mod support on consoles, I love using all my skins and 3d models for the car in nations and stadium 2. On that note, some SERIOUSLY needs to make a Mach 5 car model from Speed Racer for Trackmania.
