1. Have a strong why (it’s unique, challenging (especially mentally) and isolating) 2. Be patient - this is not a quick fix 3. 3. Do what you can to make u feel better during the workout (e.g. have a cup of coffee, 4. Use a flattering mirror 5. Admire your progress/body 6. Accessory muscles-tune into which exercise affects which accessory muscles 7. Find something to look forward to in the workout (e.g. the lengthening effect) 8. Eat clean and balanced, but not restrictive 9. Determine your workout frequency (she recommends 60 min, 6 times/week) 10. Create a plan that’s reasonable and sustainable

I have a TIP to add!!!: When changing levels in Meta, I do the first videos on a 0,75 playback speed. That way I can really understand what is going on, and try to follow her up. LOL.

I love that you're one of the only ones on here making current content about TA method! that's why I keep coming back to your channel 'cause it's so helpful finding someone to just explain the ins and out and nuances to the whole thing. I recently started Meta because of your vids too! I'm a week in to the omni level, & based on the schedule I have 1 day left of the first workout before I move onto level 2... I have to admit I did miss 3 days of the level 1 workout because I was so busy those days and didn't prioritize fitting it in - but I'm still feeling so many physical benefits! I'm SO much stronger already than the day I started, and I can see some subtle physical changes to my proportions but no visible fat loss yet (in my opinion). here's to hoping that I can start to see those kinds of results during level 2!!

So curious to know how your journey is going! There have been so many stop/start moments I have had - but what I have found is that I can always get back to it. Hope all is well!

@@RundownwithRachel so, I ended up stopping during level 2, sadly. I was finding it so difficult to fit the workouts in with my long work days and an hr - hr & a half workout was just the last thing I wanted to do some days lol. but now that I’m working from home, I may need to give myself another chance to see what it can do for my body... I also think I was getting discouraged because I wasn’t seeing “immediate” results. even though I know this is a long haul type of program, I hadn’t switched my mindset around to be okay with not seeing results after like, a week haha. definitely something for me to work on next round !

@@tritri444 I totally understand what you mean! We all have different “seasons” with different priorities. Sometimes work is the top priority, other times it’s fitness, well being etc. Nothing wrong with putting one of those things on the back burner for the sake of balance. 💕

I came to your channel the same way, through TA. I did all the Metamorphosis this summer, finished and got bored. I never thought I would enjoy the TA online but because of you, I have now joined and am loving it! Plus your tips about the best ways to watch (like putting my laptop on the floor so I don't have to strain my neck at different parts of the video). Anyway, love your videos!! Love your delivery and all your tips. Yes, can't wait until your dance cardio video, I can't seem to get into it.

So glad to hear you are loving online studio! There is SO much to it that I continue to find value in. As for dance cardio, I can totally relate to not being into it - that's how I was initially - but found some ways to approach it that makes it enjoyable and fun! I actually prefer it so much more than muscular structure now. So excited to dish on it!

“Trust the process” has been my approach with outstanding results through that commitment. I also created several playlists to accompany the workouts since she doesn’t much speak during her training anyway. Here’s a tip that keeps me visually committed to my progress: For Meta, or whatever you prefer. I created a chart on graph paper, 10 columns across, 9 rows down indicating the 90 day program changing every 10 days, placing an ‘X’ each day I workout. At the end of each row, I calculate the percentage of that week, for instance on Level 1, I did 8/10 workouts it’s 80% which keeps me motivated. I keep other notes, etc. on there too. Full disclosure, the DVD’s come with this large sheet already I just modified it with my preferences.

I like you Rachel. You seem so sincere and relatable. Thank you so much for your videos. I feel you are building a community here, and I’ve got to say, it’s a very smart idea for a channel. When I decided that running (my love) and HIIT bodyweight workouts were beating me up, both physically, mentally and my nervous system, I stared looking for something different. I remembered liking Pilates, and that google search led to TA. I loved it from the first workout. I also track my food on my fitness pal, and I went on their community pages to find TA people or clubs. My post got torn to shreds by the people there. They trashed talked Tracy and her workouts. Luckily, I was far enough into TA metamorphosis that I didn’t let it deter me. I’m now on level 6 of metamorphosis. I don’t do it 6 days a week, but I do 4 days of muscular structure, followed by a 2 mile run. On the other 2 days, I run or bike for an hour. I feel the best I have in years. I don’t know if anyone else experienced this, but when I got results from bodyweight HIIT, my body looked more vascular. I don’t know if that’s the right description or not,. But with TA, I feel more long and lean, like a dancer. I’m looking forward to more videos. I selfishly hope you keep doing these for many years to come.💕💕

That had to be so deflating to be torn to shreds like that. People can be so hostile and limited in their views! Glad it didn’t waver you in the least. You have quite the workout routine! Your term “vascular” for HIT bod is SPOT ON for me! And now, like you, I feel like my physique is so much more similar to a dancer - and I also feel great! There are endless topics that can be covered for TA, and I am committed to create a video each week (Tuesday). It holds me accountable to the program, is so fun, and makes my day when I find it helps others because it helps me SO MUCH TOO! In more ways than one! Really appreciate your encouraging words 🥰. Hi Rachel. Long time subscriber here. I've been a huge fan for a long time and I love the personality and flare you bring the youtube space. It's a refreshing change of pace. Tuesdays are now my favorite day of the weekday. It's Tuesday, which I will be starting a petition to change to Rachday, and trailing at a distance is Friday, Thurday, then Geoffday.

I started metamorphosis because of your videos & I love it. I don't like her dance cardio though! It's like trying to follow along with a raver who's randomly jumping around, high at Burning Man 🤣 I just run, do rebounding or a different cardio vid.

Thank you, Rachel! Did you do meta for a while before trying her Online Studio? For those of us who are not looking to invest in the Online Studio - it would be great to hear your experience with any of her DVDs or Metamorphosis formats . (ie : can you achieve the same results using these vs. online studio)

I SURE DID! Thats how I started was with the abcentric program. I think you can achieve just as great results - maybe even better results with Metamorphosis because the time commitment is so much more reasonable. I have sense made a video dedicated to meta that I think you may like.

I need help....I'm doing meta right now and what im scared of with starting the online program is if it's going to be too hard for me. Does she do daily routine workouts? Or does she put out one video each week for everyone to follow until she makes a new video for everyone to follow? And are the classes live? Can you please do a breakdown of how the site actually works because nobody talks about how the online site works...is it something that you have to dedicate yourself to everyday each class?

That is a great idea and a topic that I can absolutely create a video on. To quickly answer your questions, there are a few options on the Online Studio: Beginner, intermediate and advanced. Based on which level you identify with, you would do that levels muscular structure every day. The workouts are the same for the week. With meta, you change every did days, with online studio the workout changes every week. The classes are not live - so you can pause as you need to. I have a video comparing meta to the online studio which may help but you are I completely agree that having a video focused on the online studio would be helpful for so many! Let me know if this helps you in the meantime.

Yea, I'm not sure where all the online hate for TA comes from but all I can conclude is they've never tried the workout! If you've done the workout and put in the time..you know it's amazing in so many ways!

@@bekindshowlove2213 Hi! I'm not sure if this question was meant for me but I don't wear shoes for the mat workout...never have. Although that doesn't seem to be the norm. I do dance cardio once per week and just wear Brooks sneakers or Nike AirMax. And I use a MacBook Pro to stream and put in on the floor next to me :)

Hi! How long have you been “on the Tracy Anderson train?” How long into the program did you notice true changes? I am pretty new to the method (only been a member since February and am a few weeks into Intermediate) and I love it. My fear is that if I don’t see noticeable results on a regular basis (no matter how small) I’m going to get frustrated and quit. Just trying to set reasonable expectations for myself so that I stay committed. Anyone reading this feel free to jump in!

I saw changes after 7 days with higher glutes and more sculpted arms, even if it’s subtle, your transformation is coming from deeper within. This is the longevity it promises, not just the major muscles, but all the accessory muscles she discusses. Good luck, and TRUST THE PROCESS.

Wonder Woman X - such a beautiful explanation. Aimie - there are still times where I wonder if the time I am putting in is worth the results I am seeing - and usually its around that time that I realize Mother Nature is calling and I am just bloated haha. I think we live in a world where we live hard and fast and expect results to be the same - but its the "TRUST THE PROCESS" motto that Wonder Woman has shared and so many others that has kept me in it - especially in the Online Studio locker room.

Hey Apyc! I should have tracked more closely, but I really think it has! I’ve also started dry brushing which I think has helped a TON, too. It also makes my skin feel much tighter, smoother and youthful.
