Yup. The hardest part of the whole job is getting that fan threaded onto the water pump. This is where having patience will save you a lot. The fan should spin on easily. Just like when taking off. If it does not spin on easily or stops after a turn or two... YOU ARE CROSS THREADING IT! Back it off and try again. Patience.
My mechanics new one for me said 3 hours labor cost 300-? 400 total approx with cheap part he said . Does that sound right ? Everything so expensive these days it’s April 2023 today
That's from a head gasket leak or they put some kind of stop leak in there I had a Ford and I put some stop leak in there and after a while I seen something similar to that
I made sure not to force it on there and if I felt any noticeable resistance I immediately stopped. On the first one I felt some slight resistance but keep on installing it. Good luck and thanks for watching!
