@@thatonenigeriansformula it doesn't make any sense for road applications, at that point just make it a centrifugal supercharger. The entire point is that it's a 150+lb turbocharger impeller, so it's too heavy to get spinning off of just gasses. Meanwhile even massive turbos for cars that are impractically large can still be spooled by relatively small engines.

@@THESLlCK perhaps for trucks with large turbos that are hard to light until they reach higher RPM, like a centrifugal supercharger pulley connected to a gearbox and a one way freewheel mechanism

@@cs-gj3yf yea, that’s a centrifugal supercharger. I’m talking a freewheeling pulley to mechanically accelerate a turbo up to a decent speed to produce boost before exhaust gasses take over. Just like the train turbo, but a little different

I got an HP omen 40l for $1300 usd recently Can run the game smoothly at max graphics with 50+ mods installed. Good computer if you are in the market for one and want good performance but don't have too much to spend

I got one for 120€ and I'm only missing a gpu to run at max graphics

@JM Production base game I get 100+ fps and with 50+ mods activated fps hovers at 80-100 fps with rare frame dips down to 60 fps and when you crash too many cars to bard at the same time the game pauses itself. But aside from that, you don't even know the mods are there in terms of performance

@@3ch0_17 I actually had an HP for my first computer when I was a kid. So thank you for the suggestion, it's much appreciated! I built a budget gaming PC back in the 10 years ago I mentioned. Well before that even but needless to say it's very outdated. May just gut and rebuild if it's not too bad. Might be able to get away with re using more than just the case fans etc.

For real. Every video like this they do the same thing. They short the shift and it costs them so much speed and acceleration.

@@spookyreaper1702 It's not. It's shifting below redline and putting the revs down under the torque curve with each upshift. Turbo spools down and you have to wait for the boost to build back up. All alleviated by shifting 500 rpm later.🤷

Ah idk I drive a diesel with dsg 2.0tdi 250kw with a hybrid turbo. For my car it works like that. I guess for a manual it shifts slower so I agree with you both

You need titanium for that engine block to accommodate 450PSI of boost.
