Trans people have been allowed to compete in the Olympics for the past 20 years, and there hasn't been a single trans gold medalist. Thomas herself has tied for 5th place and was repeatedly beaten by cis women, but you only throw a fit when she happens to win once. Also, nice job deadnaming Lia Thomas. Yeah, the film makes me wonder if the film makers regularly make jokes about men hitting their wifes. Kinda sad. And on top of that, the film is so unreal. The female sport have so insanely strict rules that no sane male athlete is going to dress up as a woman just to compete in that category. And trans women athletes need to fulfill requirements to compete. In other words, the movie is a unreal, crappy, unfunny comedy film. I would rather read fanfictions of corona virus x Dio (Jojo) or Mr. Clean on Wattpad

@@horimo8920 Yes, it's saying a LOT about the BS and fearmongering spread and that female women suck at sport, that few conservative men( even some liberal men) are not really interested in women's sport anyway, (only if in a revealing outfit) as empty stadium suggests. The occasional one, of the very few trans women out of a very tiny minority actually competing coming 5th place occasionally is no danger to female athletes. Under funding and lack of publicity/commercial interest are the biggest threats to female sports.

This is ironic seeing as the #200th in men's tennis kicked Serena's ass so badly they went openly on air advocating that men shouldn't be competing against women. The movie also showed the dudes getting beaten by women, showing that while its still possible to beat men, they can still take records like Lia Thomas who was #367 in men's swimming and #1 in women's. Whats even more ironic is that they made a transgender category and nobody signed up. Echo chambers aren't good for you captain.

And testosterone is literally a steroid. A performance enhancing steriod many body builders use to increase muscle mass.

Try watching it to explain to your dad what is wrong with the movie, like how they would have to be on HRT for at least a year (probably years) before being allowed to join also if your family is religious try using bible verses to teach them that being trans or non binary is ok like these. Matthew 19:11-12 I am typing what was in my bible but there are plenty of versions. 11 and he said, “Not all can accept this teaching; but those to whom it has been given. 12 For there are eunuchs who were born so from their mother’s womb; and there are eunuchs who were made by men; and there are eunuchs who have made themselves so for the sake of kingdom of heaven. Let him accept it who can.” There is also Esther 1:10-12 and I wont type the whole thing cuz it's long but in summary the queen is in her changing quarters and her husband the king is not allowed in there but the eunuchs are allowed in there. Proving that the bible says that trans women ARE allowed in women's spaces. Hope that helps.
