Apr.27 -- Kristo Kaarmann, TransferWise Ltd. chief executive officer, discusses the company's new multicurrency online account and the growing demand for its services. He speaks with Bloomberg's Selina Wang on "Bloomberg Technology."
Really great idea. Better and cheaper than the brick and mortar stores, since you know the money fees go to the TransferWise teams only, rather than the stores first
Hi Kristo... is it also a great idea to suspend accounts and make great nightly interest on other people's money and pocket all ? Do you put that in Miscellaneous Income column in your balance sheet ? Thanks in advance for your reply.
If I wanted to send money, say USD 20,000 from my GBP Transferwise account to a third party in the US in his USD bank account, the current process requires that I have a US bank account (which I do not have). Even if I opened a Transferwise USD account, I would still need a US bank account! It would have made a lot of sense if Transferwise could directly pay the US beneficiary.
