9:53 The idea is that Starscream only knew it was Skyquake AFTER he awaken him. He knew many planets had sleeper agents like him due to how Energon had been hidden by both sides across the cosmos. He only knew that Earth must have had at least one sleeper Con due to that fact (and since he is the second in command, he would have that knowledge). And also yes, a lot of shit everyone forgets that they had sent to Earth, lmao

12:42 that device sent by Soundwave is Laserbeak. Soundwave is a surveillance bot, and Laserbeak is his eyes and ears. Soundwave also never speaks, and anytime you hear sound coming from him, it’s because he recorded someone else speaking. Soundwave is the kind of decepticon that is ALWAYS listening.

I noticed a tiny Easter Egg. When Starscream is addressing the Decepticons, he calls himself the "Emperor of Destruction", which is the title/rank of the main antagonist Deathsaurus, from Transformers: Victory in 1989!!

Starscream had only just arrived on Earth at the start of this episode. Starscream was more concerned with finding the Autobots than fighting them, then when Megatron returned, they were more concerned with his Dark Energon plan to worry about tracking down their Sleeper Unit.

Megatron surviving a space bridge explosion didn't surprise me one bit. Considering what Megatron had survived in other transformers series

I mean, we're talking about millions of years with millions of Transformers spread across the galaxy, with plenty of elite/exceptional as well as a boatload of grunt minions. Who's got time to keep track of every one of 'em? 99.9% of the Terrorcons/Zombies were probably those killed over the course of the war. We've just reached the point where there's only a handful of Transformers left, even then, there's probably hundreds of Vehicons on Earth. Anyways, Megs was probably more concerned with raising his undead army during the pilot episodes, rather than a single sleeper elite. I mean, there's forgetting the place with the Anti-Life Equation and not even having the coordinates of it stored on ANY of your thousands of ships; and there's forgetting one random guy who Megs probably didn't care about all that much, despite Skyquake's proclamation of loyalty. Putting that aside, nice to see you're watching a pretty darn good show, hope you'll enjoy the ride.

Sky Quake wasn't brought up before because he was Megatron's soldier, so Starscream didn't try to get him in while Megatron was away. And Megs wasn't around for long, so he didn't have the time to go after him. Also, get rid of the idea that Earth is just a backwater planet that the bots just happen to land on. Unlike many other stories, Earth is actually full of importance, so stuff just being on Earth is not that big of a convenience.

Its honestly better than any other cartoon i watched, i didnt realize when i first watch it but all characters are S tier in this show, and their interactions are juat pure gold

The thing about Starscream being leader of the Decepticons is that unless Starscream does something shady like being caught removing that Dark Energon, Military Commander has legal claim to the throne if Megatron goes down which means although some don't respect his authority, others like Soundwave will respect the law and Megatron's decision to make Starscream Military Commander and follow him. Also Starscream isn't the only Con to have issue with Megatron's leadership.

Tbf, the chain of command of the Decepticons isn't really the most "by the book" type. It has always been a "strongest shall rule" type of claim, which leads to a lot on in-fighting (idk if I wrote right), plotting and backstabbing. Situations that we have like Shockwave beating Megatron and becoming the new leader cause he was not at all happy with Megatron's situation on Earth and saw only logical for him to rule the Decepticons. The Autobots do follow more of a military chain of command in case Optimus goes missing or something, letting leader fall on mostly his second or someone with high command like his, like Magnus or Jazz for example. Same thing goes to when Optimus feels not fit to lead

@@redfire1186 Like I said, some like Soundwave respect Megatron's choice of Starscream and so he stood by him. I'm not sure that Shockwave would find it logical to pick a fight with Soundwave.

14:22- Unfortunately Raf's family had to pay for the damage his "science project" done to the school according to their official site, though I don't know for sure if it's still there, but more than likely Special Agent Fowler had to pull a few strings to reimburse the school and to let Raf off the hook.

skyquake was in the g1 universe but it was just a figure and does turn into a jet he never appeared in shows until this show where he was assinged to kill optimus prime by megatorn before his death which lead him being in statis for a long time on earth until starscream activate him and he still on mission of killing optimus prime

Skyquake follows the decepitcons in general. The decipticons follow Megatron. Skyquake would have to join Starscream because he still follows the decipticons and Starscream has similar intentions and end goals of Megatron(it's just that Starscream would be a bad bot to exucute plans mainly because of greed)

I do agree that season 1 does feel a little disjointed in terms of the introductions of many of his characters bevause it’s the most episodic season of the show, but later on I’d actually say that how the show ties plot lines together and everything connects is really well done

The villains are a major highlight of the show for me. Starscream is incredibly fun to watch, made even better by a phenomenal performance by Steve Blum, and Soundwave, frankly...gives me nightmares.

Now's a good opportunity to talk about one of the underfocused flaws of the show. Blaster fire feeling generally indistinct in both rate of fire and impact. Why now? Because Sky Quake's minigun is a rare exception. This flaw doesn't break the show by any means, but it holds back the combat from being better. Though with 'Bee essentially ripping out Cybertronian muscle tissue with his bare hands, it can still be pretty impactful when they go for it.

I think the episode that is going to get you hooked, is Episode 12. There are some bangers before it. But episode 12 is for real the one that got me hooked on some of the characters. Season 1 can be alittle slow in some episodes though im not going to lie.

If he doesnt in 12 from episode 23 of season 1 to ending movie its complete bangers. I like first 22 episodes but they dont compare with whats after them

Transformer has a history and G.I. Joe did this to where the first episode was cut in to five parts and shown all week long. Back in the 80s when i was a kid Transformers and G.I. Joe was shown back to back every day. I'd race home from school every day just to watch them.

10:24, here's some rationale to put the issue you've raised to rest, while many Decepticons express blind loyalty to Megatron it isn't out of character for him to use said followers as mere pawns and forget about them altogether like an 8-track tape.

I think it’s assumed megatron didn’t know of skyquake, but Starscream kept the information from him. Still that would kind of show him as guilty to soundwave as withholding information from megatron. That being said at this point Starscream assumes megatron was completely dead so he’s probably confindent no one will come to seek revenge on him

I assume Skywuake was jsut crashed on earth and went into hiding from escaping the War on Cybertron & maybe Megatron told him to wait . & the Decepticons clearly escaped from Cybertron along with the Autobots to earth to continue there fight since Cybertron is desolate of transformer life. Starscream trying to be the new leader is so funny 😂 & kinda endearing like he jsut wants to rule but he knows he’s not that powerful

Starscream is smart but mostly always does stupid stuff in most of the Transformers omniverse/franchise because of his ambitious nature. Megatron is always a beast. And this is not even the most powerful versions of the Cybertronians. This is the best Transformers show/film (film because it's a show, of course) period, but there is more Transformers material out there that both surpasses and is more than meets the eyes.
