Great video I am looking to buy a Stampede BL-2s the first of the year, I am going to check out your site. Might change from buying from Traxxas direct to your company. I also subscribed to the channel.

Did I understand you tightened the slipper clutch all the way? A BL motor should have much higher torque than a B one... and it is unclear to me why this would heat up the motor to use the clutch. It is there to keep your components like the drive shaft and linkages from snapping in half if your wheels get caught. Correct me if I am wrong.

What would be the right 14t pinion?? Would it work with #3944X from traxxas parts?

I have a question I’m getting the Slash version of this for racing in a SCT 4x4 class. What is preventing this from running 3s? Is it just the motor or the esc as well. Could I just change the pinion to be a little more competitive? and how much are the cheaper chargers for the Lipo. I’m trying to get into the 4x4 class and on a budget and this is perfect but just don’t want to be completely outclassed the track only has one short strait away

I went to a 15 tooth pinion and I RARELY get cogging. I decided to add a cooling fan to help. As for the clutch, I didn’t think it would cause extra heat in the motor. Can you explain why that is? It helps with cogging.
