I took my ultimate out the last couple days in the snow, I put the wider traxxas paddles on the back with Max tires on front along with the bug body and it didn't seem to build up snow as bad. Awesome rip in that sticky wet snow!!

Awesome man! Yeah I’ve tried running 2.8 paddles with the buggy body…it does work pretty well!

Proline Dumont paddle tires Nolan? Think I'll have to email Santa a last minute addition to the Christmas list! You tore that park to shreds... 👍😁

@@urbanarborist1160 I have tried some Proline Paddles….they weren’t the Dumont Paddles…they worked pretty good, not as well as the Traxxas ones though

Head ups on something I didn’t know. The new heavy duty. bl2 caster blocks and toe blocks and what not it only will work with the new traxxas heavy duty plastic driveshafts or teknos. I bought them not knowing that now issue I’ll put them on my car with teknos.

I’ve seen someone drill screws through the wheels and tires for ice and snow

Yeah I’ve done that before…it definitely helps on Ice tremendously…not nearly as much in the snow but still a little bit

Awesome video. Maybe a video on how to dry it after bashing in the snow? Also would you reccomend buying a traxxas slash 4x4 upgrade kit from amazon its $130 by hopsupRC. I have a stock slash from april and slowly repairing 1 thing at a time and going to and from RC shop is a burden sometimes. I already replaces drive shafts and shocjs and spent more at the shop than the rc kit on amazon. Shocks broke again today and I am wondering if i should just buy the upgrade kit instead of only shocks. I would spend about 60 or 70 for good shocks at the shop alone!

Thanks! Maybe I’ll have to make a video on maintenance….I’m not familiar with the upgrade kit…..what does the 4x4 upgrade kit include?

It definitely helps keep it cooler…it’s still probably possible to overheat considering it’s straining the power system so much in the snow and I was full throttle the entire time lol
