In this video I bash my Traxxas Slash 4x4 “Ultimate Basher Build” in the Snow running Traxxas # 5891 Paddle Tires on 4s Lipo Power! Amazon Affiliate Links - Traxxas Paddle Tires 2.2 # 5891 Pre-Mounted (2) - amzn.to/4a0OCwe
I took my ultimate out the last couple days in the snow, I put the wider traxxas paddles on the back with Max tires on front along with the bug body and it didn't seem to build up snow as bad. Awesome rip in that sticky wet snow!!
Head ups on something I didn’t know. The new heavy duty. bl2 caster blocks and toe blocks and what not it only will work with the new traxxas heavy duty plastic driveshafts or teknos. I bought them not knowing that now issue I’ll put them on my car with teknos.
I need to take my slash 4x4 out in the snow I took my trx4m out yesterday and im waiting for parts for my fcx24 I would also send the 1/6 erevo but it's got a blown rear diff
Awesome video. Maybe a video on how to dry it after bashing in the snow? Also would you reccomend buying a traxxas slash 4x4 upgrade kit from amazon its $130 by hopsupRC. I have a stock slash from april and slowly repairing 1 thing at a time and going to and from RC shop is a burden sometimes. I already replaces drive shafts and shocjs and spent more at the shop than the rc kit on amazon. Shocks broke again today and I am wondering if i should just buy the upgrade kit instead of only shocks. I would spend about 60 or 70 for good shocks at the shop alone!
@@cheesypooo6838 it sounds like a lot of parts for the price…but I’m not familiar with the brand or quality so I wouldn’t be able to tell you if it’s a good deal or not
It definitely helps keep it cooler…it’s still probably possible to overheat considering it’s straining the power system so much in the snow and I was full throttle the entire time lol
