@@RCKnockout a lot of people think just cause they make best crawler motors but some people don’t know that really you can use their motors in anything John Holmes has mentioned that before I have been running there motors in my monster trucks and slashes and my crawlers

Was that on 3's in the parkinglot or just really conservative gearing? 🤔 I'm not downing the build but man that thing was only going 53Mph max? Your build compared to my 4x4 Slash always seems lacking on video compared to what my slash does! I always watch your videos.I enjoy most of them!!!

Yes it’s geared very low…..the entire bash was on 4s lipo

@@RCKnockout Okay hear me out if you really like a wild reliable RC. I Run a highly modified slash 4x4. Everything from spiral cut front and rear ring and pinion and Xo-1 spider gears and cup too GTR shock, MOD 1 gearing, 16/40 gearing. Revo slipper with Robinson racing graphite pads, LCG chasis on a backslash kit 4's 2700kv motor.Those are only a few mods done. I get that it's unfair to compare it to your SCT slash but it Just seems lacking or pretty much the same as a stock VXL slash power wise.

@@james654100 sounds like a sweet build….this build is less about the top speed….I care more about usable power…and not having heat issues…a stock system running similar top speed gearing would start having heat issues when bashing like I do….top end doesn’t mean much to me for bashing…it’s good to have some extra power on tap but what’s the point of gong over 60 if I’m never gonna go that fast aside from on speed runs….

I get that! No overheating for me! That's why I left vxl behind!!!! I like ripping my 4x4 through open soccer fields at 60mph plus. That also gives me the ability to clear any jump and do triple backflips or more.Even with punch set conservatively. But hey I always come back to your Chanel! Keep up the hard work man and I hope you've had success finding a cool new Job.

Nice rig! Question? I’ve seen several lcg chassis on the slash perform and they all have struggled with landing a jump they always bounce too hard and flip over in the rear. Like when you were clearing the road . I want to swap mine to lcg but I’m worried about that I like to jump it also. Maybe softer springs can combat this ? Thanks

I think softer might be worse actually….it’s bottoming out on the chassis which is part of the reason you get the bounce….it just doesn’t have enough travel to soak up the bigger jumps without slapping the chassis….stiffer springs might works better but it’ll be worse over the smaller bumps
