Hm.. I cant turn the belt 90 degrees but it also has shavings so I am confused lol I also saw how to take the belt off but don't know what to do if the belt is too tight on the front. Ill have to try that drawing a line test.

Excellent video. Safety switch off. I jumpered it. Still shows off. Could a defective motor heat sensor cause it to show that the safety switch is off?

Great video, just went through your diagnosis steps and it appears I my thermal sensor is bad according to your video (no ohms OL) but it looks like it is near the bottom of my motor on my A2250, not sure how to get to that without removing the motor. Also I don't see a magnet on my speed sensor. Unit has over 5500 miles on it. So it could be multiple issues. Could the motor brush be bad? Thanks again!

Wow what a great video. Well done. Can you help me. I have a sports Art TR33 v2.3. It was in storage for a few months. When I set it up in my new gym, it blew the main fuse. Replaced fuse turned on, blew again as well as a little smoke from the motor drive circuit board. I sent the board off to the company I purchased from 12 years ago. He replaced a couple of resistors but had no test bench to test. When I put the board back in, turned on the control panel was fine, I set up my usual settings, then pushed start and “puff” of smoke from the circuit board. Machine now completely dead. I can possibly get a used board out of the USA and sent to New Zealand. (The company you mentioned doesn’t have one) but I’m worried I may put a perfectly good board in and it blows again due to some other product failure not in the board. Do I need to replace the board with exactly the same version. Ie V2.3 My machine was running so well before storage and is really expensive to replace I want to try a fix first. Not too worried about cost at this stage (within reason!) Any help you can give me would be really appreciated Michael Parker from New Zealand

I have a 2008 Nordictrack 6100xi (yes old but is great shape) on the underneath o of the deck on each side of walking belt are brackets that little rolling cylinders are attached to (isolators ?) . My question is does the walking belt slightly bend up against the cylinder proving a guide to the belt. If I instead put the belt above the metal bracket then the bolt scrapes against the belt. Hopefully I am understandable

Great video! Maybe you can help me with my Pro-form that is acting rather strange. I am biased toward believing it’s my motor but, before buying a replacement, maybe you have some insight as to what you have experienced. The treadmill was working daily without any problems, but on one particular morning, my wife turned it on and was running and the belt immediately raced into high speed. Then tripped the circuit breaker in the house. At that point, we reset the breaker and attempted to turn on the treadmill again, it immediately went into high speed and shut down, but did not trip the circuit breaker in the house. I opened it up and found that the MOSFET was shorted out. I ordered and replace the MOS. I then powered it up and without a load on the belt it was working just fine. We could step up the speed step down the speed and all the functions seem to be OK but as soon as we got on the treadmill and put a load on it, it immediately blew the MOS again. I replaced the MOS second time and it is still behaving the way it behaved the first time I replaced the part. I’m thinking that a load on the motor is drawing excessive current and overdriving the control board. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I have a Profrom 415CT treadmill that was working fine, then yesterday, put in magnet to start, it came up like normal, but the only buttons that worked are the "quick 200 Cals", "Quick 2 miles" and #5 %upgrade and down incline buttons. Nothing else. The go, stop, speed, up incline all speed and all include (except 5) buttons. I pulled and re-seated the two console ribbons, but no change. Any ideas? I pulled the console off, but don't see anything burnt on the boards.

Proform CARBON T10 - PFTL99720.0 treadmill turns on, screen lights up shows logo, sits there loading and does nothing but hit retry, it beeps when you hit retry but does nothing,,,, fans work on it, incline works.... speed does nothing but beep,, any idea ?
