That's such a cool and fresh way of thinking about it! I was thinking about this with Birkenstocks in Germany, since people have been saying that Birks aren't cool anymore (and therefor not timeless) but it's like a German staple so I think they'll always be timeless here :D

I think it depends where you're from in the UK, here in London literally everyone has had a personal style that corrolates with their friendgroups, communities & cultures etc. @@ashleighcallaghan

hahahah black air forces remind me of school bc they were pretty much the only 'cool' all black leather shoe that wasn't a pair of kickers so anyone without a pair of kickers wore them !! oh evveryythinngg now only lasts a maximum of 2 of the same season. that's why its so so important to buy and wear what YOU really like so that when it becomes 'untrendy' it'll still be something you love to wear. unfortunately trends can cloud our judgement in what we genuinely think is our personal style and what actually makes us feel best. for example you'll see in my most recent vid I got myself a new (to me) pair of dad trainers despite me in this vid saying they are uncool - bc I know its what I love to wear and my personal style :)) thank you for the interesting comment !! Pls pls wear whatEVER you wanttttt!! Everyone has their own personal style and what makes your own pieces timeless is that they serve a purpose to you !! So for you a platform would serve a purpose so even if the trend gets ‘old’ they will still be something you wear because they serve you, they are part of YOUR personal style :D:D leather jackets in general are a timeless piece imo, atm the trends are moto jackets n distressed leather but my personal fav is a vintage shearling dark brown leather jacket !

Be careful. Uggs were a fad once too. Just because typical timeless pieces are trendy now doesn´t mean that they won´t get out of style. For example I begin to see any red leather item as really cheap and ugly because everyone wears it. I would recommend to think about why you want certain pieces. Do you like uggs because they look cute now, or because you want warm boots that you would still wear even if everyone thinks they are ugly. Do you want to get pieces because you saw someone wearing them well on social media or because you really think that they fit your personal style and other items you own. At the end it is up to you and if you want to take the risk and any trendy item can become timeless if you develop a personal style.

ah oh my so this is embarrassing but they are from eBay for £2.50 then I just take them to specsavers to get my prescription put in bc im a bRoKE student hahahahaha, ive had the same glasses for yyeearrrrrrssssss n whenever they break I order the same pair, pop out my lenses from the old ones and pop them into the new ones :')

I live in London :DD trench coats are def worn over here in autumn and winter but they are different to the ones we wear in spring. in winter you'll need a wool trench and you find them in darker colours, whereas in spring we wear them in beige and they are in a much lighter material, just like you said ! :) I hope you have a lovely week xxxxxx
