The react format was something that existed along youtube's beginnings if we think about the Fine Brothers, I always enjoyed watching elders react, children react, etc. But they are western and I was born in Brazil, this is western trend is kind of the predominant culture. I've seen it for years and it's gotten old because of English being the predominant language. Still, the idea of depicting what many would like to see: the customs and tastes and views of the world from different, random and common people from different cultures is pretty much a desire of the so called "world citizens". To create a channel such as this one in the middle of a pandemic, where these "world citizens" are unable to explore new cultures, is the type of format many people tend to flock into. There is a lot to explore from this, and great job figuring out, that's why I love to see these people. Our society nowadays needs humbleness and these people share such great outlook on life that is so lacking because of geopolitical tensions nowadays.

Apparently a favorite Turkish snack is sunflower seeds, but since sunflower seeds are also eaten in Pakistan they would probably be too common and familiar. I've had borek with feta and spinach and they were so good. But where was the lokum?

Where did you got the information that we speak 30 languages? Would be too good :D
@linusp9316
@linusp9316 2 года назад
It's true that there are 30+ languages, but 90% of people speak one of just a few.. the rest are small minority languages. But it's still cool that there are so many, even if some are endangered.

What happened to the other guy from the earlier videos? I like that guy and the thin face older gentleman. They have a certain level of intuition that some of these new characters dont have.
