Yeah I don't really approve the lies, and just the fact that the man does *not* enjoy spicy food. And seriously, we've seen them eating plenty of spicy stuff. We know their reactions. Cut them some slack, and stop being so deceitful.

@@fatkart7641 In a way, I get what y'all are saying, but if you're not super familiar with this and the other popular tribal reaction channels, these mega spicy food episodes get a lot of views for the channels... which means more revenue for the channel AND for the participants. I've heard the guys themselves say that they've never been upset about these types of videos and have always agreed to do them because they know that the viewers enjoy it and that sincerely means a great deal to them. These men might not have had the chance to be as "formally educated" as most of us in Western societies, but they're very smart and very wise people in their own right. They're not like some group of vulnerable children who are being taken advantage of. So, please, give them a little more credit than that. Contrary to some of the "chatter" I see in the comments on this and other tribal channels, I've done a bit of research into the people who started and still run these channels. They're people who created these because they want very much to build bridges between their culture and people who are likely more familiar with what the government, politicians and the media portray. They wanted to show that what we hear on the news that informs our opinions about each other, are simply not true. They want the rest of the world to know that even though our traditions and social norms might be different in many ways, as people, we are honestly not remotely as different from each other as the powers that be would like us to believe. And trust me, the men and (on most channels now) women who make up these teams, are now able to bring in far more for themselves and their families than they ever could have before. Honestly, if the participants on these channels genuinely felt like they were being deceived or were taken advantage of, I don't think they'd hesitate for one second to leave. Just my humble opinion. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't against tricking him into trying it. Just mentioning it will be hard to get him to try, some less hot, more enjoyable sweet chilli chicken, by using those specific words to trick him. I'm all for seeing them try crazy hot foods, even poor Raffi. It is a try channel after all.

I just get a little bit touchy when folks just make assumptions that these good folks are simpletons who don't realize what's being done to them or that they have no say or choice. Water does nothing, you need milk, as that absorbes and dilutes the capsacin, water is repelled by that type of chemical.
