I won the giveaway and received the paddle yesterday! It's looks great and came with four red overgrips and three stickers. The one I received weighed 7.84 oz so a bit lighter than the advertised weight, but I am happy about that. Thanks Matt for setting this up.
Thanks for reviewing this one. First I've heard of this company, but I love what they stand for. I'd love to see you review the Jahking and Jahking/AR.
Wonderful to see quality thermformed paddles at or under the $100 price point! I'm excited to see your review of both the Jahking and the aramid version, the Jahking AR. I'm mostly a beginner and am advancing quickly; currently using a Selkirk Latitude big-box kit paddle, and I am interestedly watching your reviews to determine which might best fit my game and budget! Thanks for putting together these great videos!
Thanks for the review! Appreciate these budget friendly paddles that are similar to other higher priced paddles. I usually go through a paddle every 4-6 months because it loses its grit. Please do a review on the hailing/ar next!
Thank you for the review and giveaway! Would love to see a review/comparison vs the JAHKING/AR in terms of the different face material and if it's worth the $20 premium.
Interesting. I might have to pick this up just to try it for that price. I would like to see you review the Jahking AR next. I haven't used a Kevlar/aramid paddle yet and am trying to figure out which to buy
Terrific video - I really like how your reviews provide all of the needed information in a nice, concise format. I definitely prefer yours to the reviews with video of the channel host playing on a court where we can’t even tell which one of the four guys he is and who’s using the paddle being reviewed. Please review the Jahking/AR next. Thanks!
Wow, didn't know there is another Hawaii company. This looks nicer than my Vatic Pro Flash but I still like to see a review on their JAHKING/AR. Yes, more keen on seeing for kevlar one.
I’ve played with a prototype and really enjoyed it! Def for a control-oriented player IMO, but you can still drive all day. I’m waiting on the consumer one to arrive to talk about the changes in my review. But it’s def a fun “racquet.” I do have a discount code for them in case you want to go for it! OMxMATTHEWK should get you 10% off.
Yeah, that’s the nature of any spray-on grit paddle. I don’t have a reason to think it’s any worse than what else is out there. Personally, I don’t ever hit enough with a single paddle to be too concerned. But if you don’t rotate paddles, def something to consider!
It’s definitely up there! If you want a little more length, go with the Judah. If you want a bit more pop, the OG J2 might edge this one out a bit. But it’s a close call.
This drawing has happened, and the winner has been contacted. But the one for the new Hurache from my more recent video is still accepting entries in case you want to go for that one!
