Thank you! They not only charter routes like this, but also have 747-8 passenger planes for NFL sports teams. Maybe one day I will be able to go on that. I am scheduled on another one of these flights in the summer, if it looks different I'll make another trip report.
This is the 767 N640GT, it was used by Air Madagascar as 5R-MFF, i used to take it when i was a teenager back in the 2000s ! Nothing really changed inside the plane ! Your video brings good memories ! Btw, nice flight report !
Good video and nice narration. They are now called "Patriot Express" and they still exist. Most are operated by Omni Air International. Seattle to Japan and Korea and Baltimore to Ramstein AB, Germany. Unfortunately many have been eliminated. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for a wonderful and concise description of your flight experience to Rota. I had heard of OMNI Charter Airlines but not of Atlas, had always thought of Atlas as a freight forwarding airlines only. I would like to know what exactly does a charter airline really means??? could anyone have purchased a ticket in the U.S. to fly this Atlas flight to Rota Spain or did you have to belong to a group of people flying to Spain? Also, since Atlas Air did not provide you entertainment amenities like other major airlines do ie Delta, does that mean it is cheaper to fly Atlas Air to get to places? Does Atlas Air fly international only or does it have domestic flights as well?
Thanks! A charter flight is a flight that is not part of an airline's published schedule and is not availible for the general public. In this case, Atlas air only does charter flighta on its passenger side of operations so there is no way to get on one of these unless you are part of a pro sports team going on the road, your company uses these flights for buisness travel, or you are from the millitary or part of a millitary family in which case you can get on these to go from one base to another (which is the case for this video).
As far as the price, since the whole flight is bought/chartered by another entity, one would be invited on these dlights so it would actually be free for the flyer.

I assume that this was out of NAS Norfolk, not Norfolk International Airport. As I recall ORF lacks an adequate length rnwy for this type operation, PHF does.
So looking at the comments it seems your a military brat. And I’m guessing the reason they switched the movie is because most of the kids would be sleeping so they put an adult movie for the adults. But great video don’t see charter airline reviews
