Mate I really like the fact your showing how standard 4x4s go in the bush I'm a hilux guy you should get someone with kzn165 out with ya for drive I'm Aussie as well keep up the good work mate
Good vids man. We head out a bit, Menai Lithgow etc, and one of the boys has the Exceed model, very impressive where we have taken it stock standard...that rear locker makes all the difference! I have a lifted 80 series twin locked 35s etc, and it goes most places I do! That rear departure angle tho!
Personally, there's a lot I'd do differently. Especially the spotters tipping style, let the try themselves then give them a bit of help and advice. Oh and there's nothing wrong with giving them a bit of a pump on the accelerator and get a bit of speed up
If you lower tyre pressure to 18-20Psi you would be surprised what a difference its makes and it wont impact on ride height as much as you would think. Give it a go and see what you think.
Anthony Kendell next trip ill definitely go down to 20. Just finished a trip at zig zag and had them at 26psi and even 26 made a big difference. Thanks
It depends on the model. The lower models have 2H -> 4H -> 4L here in Australia (and probably most countries) but the higher models have 2H -> 4H -> 4Hlc -> 4Llc here in Australia (and probably most countries).
I wouldn't take my personal car, bought with hard earned money, to such grueling locations and courses such as the one show in this video. It's all fun and games until you go to the mechanic and he hands over the repair bill for all the wreckage.
Joshua Herne they are monsta all terrains on the black triton and monsta mud terrains on the grey triton. highly recommend the all terrains. both are 265/70/17
Dont understand your reply. If people are having fun with what they have, nothing to sneer about. If me and a cuople of mates are having fun kicking a ball around, no sense in Messi walking up and say he would be pissing all over us. FYI he would not be that petty. Time has come to accept that everything in life is not a competition.
MrJubbers12 how exactly is that destroying a track where did you see damage? do you think wheelspin on a rock is destructive go have a look at what other people do at these tracks and please don't sit there and tell me youve never had wheelspin or kicked up mud while offroading. there was nothing destructive about it.
MrJubbers12 well you and I both know you can't avoid spinning abit when it's loose pack and traction control or lockers aren't able to aid a tyre that's barley in contact with ground . most of it was rock and the mud as you saw. I don't think it needed the criticism it was a good effort and compared to the way people fly through the tracks and rip up rocks and what not these boys did fine in terms of minimal damage. anyway have a good day.
