What a bloody great review. I live in London but, I am originally from Brisbane / Gold Coast. I love my 3R - Best bike I have ever owned. Thanks for the awesome video!
I have only 2 problems with this model. 1) They built the roadster too good, I love my roadster. 2) the price, justified given the engineering but still - woof. I still bet I will get one in time. Great review as always.
Dont know if you guys gives a shit but if you are bored like me atm then you can stream pretty much all of the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. Been binge watching with my girlfriend for the last few days :)
Yeah - I was actually supposed to be getting a GT as a test bike for a longer loan - but the virus has put it all on hold. I will get it when things get back to normal though.
David Cohen that will be Kool. I’d be keen to hear your review on the GT, compared with the R. I really do like the multi position of the forward mount controls. Giving 50mm from shortest to furthest position.
Excellent review, Dave. I test rode the original Rocket Roadster, and I really wanted one. This would be a delight, but I'm maybe getting a bit old for it. Plus I live in Thailand. Congested roads. The low c of g means it must feel really light. Relatively speaking. I didn't find the old one heavy when on the go. And it was easy to heave off the side stand. In fact, it didn't need a heave.
It's nice to see big performance-oriented engines produced in this European emissions regulations age. It sucks to see Hayabusa and zx14 discontinued after 2020.
Hi David good to see another Queensland Great video Champ, very informative I got my Rocket TFC from Springwood When you are bored!!!! I have a video of my rocket going in 20 to 60k bends, had her scraping a far few times, handled really well, Just found it a bit hard in the arse end over bumps at speed not sure if the rear is to soft and it's bottoming out or to hard ? maybe after you watch it you might be able to let me know Talk soon Marcio
Hi@@BigDavesPlace I had triumph Australia got there mechanic ring meand walk me through it and even gave me his mobile the service Ive had with triumph Australia has been amazing The dealer didn't think that you could adjust the rebound on the front forks said the forks had to be pull apart unreal hey Triumph could believe it
Wait wait wait wait.... the 2300 R3 NEVER had forward controls.... The Touring had heel/toe. That's as far as that went.. I had a Speedmaster and now own a Thunderbird... THEY'RE both forwards. My hubbs has an R3R and it's mid controls.
Hate it and thats because i have 2016 R3. Have been satisfied with it and love it. Takes some getting used to after chucking around sports type Triumphs. But i have no need to change. Nope. Well untill ive seen this and the cornering you done with it. Bloody Aussie git
