I have the leanest needles and needle jets available. Still was a little rich so I lowered the needle to the middle notch. I wish just one size leaner needle jet was available so I could have left the needle in the 2nd richest notch, as you see, it is a touch rich then goes to a touch lean when the tapered part of the needle comes into play. Best compromise and it certainly feels very good on the road. Air filters are standard box and elements though inlet aperture has been enlarged to match the carbs. Float heights are correct, maybe I could try lowering them so that I can return to a richer needle notch?
