As long as you save all of your receipts you can service your bike yourself or have any independent shop service it and Harley must still honor the warranty. Your son's Corvette is gorgeous!
That WV trip was a great time! The weather, the scenery, and especially the company! Nearly witnessing a murder was a bonus, too! For Memorial Day weekend, The Mrs and I put over 600 miles on the Ultra Limited, and the odometer is now over 9100 miles. I’m going to need an oil change before we head up to DE next month. Ride safe.
Wow, you just gave me sticker shock on your 5000 mile service cost. But I've been there and done that. Suzuki wanted around 350.00 for my 2020 c50t 600 mile service which was adjust the valves, oil change and ( check everything else) so I opted out of that and changed the oil and filter and drive shaft fluid for around 75.00 dollars or maybe a few bucks less and she's running like a new one. Thanks for another great video on your beautiful Harley. 👍
Motorcycle service at the dealers is really expensive and I think Harley-Davidson is more guilty than the Powersport dealers who sell and service metric bikes like yours. I changed all the fluids on my Suzuki C50T every year including oil, drive shaft oil, radiator fluid and brake fluid. It ran like a top for me for the entire 8 years I owned it. Enjoy the motorcycle - you have a good one.
Nice Vet! My 2021 Heritage Classic 114 will be one year old next week. Just took it in this past weekend for 15,000 mile service and paid $429 at my local dealer. Going forward I will do my own oil changes as well.
Mine was a little more expensive because I opted for synthetic oil. Still way too much for an oil change. Thanks for watching. Ride safe in your Heritage!
