SYMPTOM1. Does not respond to pendant operation
STEP1. If the emergency stop button is activated - Deactivate it.
Make sure emergency stop button is working.
STEP2. If the hoist does not operate even when the emergency stop button is released, check if power is being supplied.
STEP3. If there is no problem with the power supply, remove control box to check the electrical parts.
STEP4. Transformer
Check the resistance of the C and P wires and replace if there is a problem.
STEP5. Magnetic Contactor
Due to frequent inching operation of the hoist, fusion could be occurred on the contactor. Check resistance.
STEP6. Brake Coil
Check the appearance of deformation and check the resistance of the brake coil. Replace if there is a problem.
STEP7. Inverter
Check the status of the inverter.
SYMPTOM2. If hoist operates in the opposite direction of the pendant control, phasing of the input supply lines is incorrect.
STEP1. Ture off circuit breaker.
STEP2. Change the position of 2 of 3 power supply phase lines.
SYMPTOM3. When the motor generates a lot of noise and heat
STEP1. Check if the power is supplied correctly.
STEP2. If there is no problem with the power, check the brake operation.
STEP3. If there is no abnormality in the brake operation, check if the hoist is overloaded.
SYMPTOM4. If electricity flows when you touch the hoist body or chain
STEP1. Check the ground status.
STEP2. Check the insulation of the motor.
