Welcome to the TRS club 🎉 My MK8 ST3 is TRS, would you suggest I go to them to see if it’s dialled in right?

I am no expert when it comes to mapping as there is a lot to understand, it would be worth emailing them to make sure all your hardware is correct to the map and see what they say. It’s worth it for peace of mind and to make sure your getting the best out of the car.

So the profile that you flash to the car. Is that active on normal mode as well as sports and track mode or does it only work on some modes ?

So it’s active on all modes, you’ll get to pops and bangs etc in spots and track with the valve staying open. In normal mode the exhaust valve stays closed and there is no overrun. There is a noticeable difference in the exhaust between normal mode and sports / track.

Will the exhaust valve stay open all the time when in sports mode? My mk 8 is stock map and you can hear the valve opening and closing all the time!!

Yes the exhaust valve will stay open as long as the have specified on the spreadsheet. Will only work in sports mode though.

I am looking forward to hear your pops and bangs and the difference between burble, cracle and flames? if you want to be able to manage your exhaust valve completely yourself in every driving mode then you can look for asr. It is plug and play and I love it.
