Trucks Pulling! - 2000HP Iveco Turbostar V8 Diesel powered by 6 Holset Turbocharger!

During the Italian tractor pulling championship, I've filmed these Iveco Turbostar trucks pulling the sled. The white one and the red one are powered by a 17.1-litre V8 diesel engine featuring six Holset turbocharger able to produce 2000HP at 4200rpm.
Don't know the specs about the black one, but it sounds awesome!

All of you talking about polution remember here in Europe should remember about American truck pulling and about the trend called rollingcoal... which is a thing between the regular owners on public roads This vid is about a contest taking place once in a while for show, does are not street trucks and they are used rarely over the year.

Also called a kiddie-mentality fit for 13-year olds who naively believe that given maximum freedom everybody will just magically get along. Obviously reality is a bit more complex than that. Just remember one historical fact: Tons of horrible wars and crimes against humanity have been under the banner of "freedom". You'd be amazed how many times the freedom of some people tends to come across as tyranny and oppression to others. So you be careful in what form your "freedom" comes. Your freedom is fine as long as it doesn't infringe on the freedom of others or completely ignores them. Oh, and one last thing. Freedom without basic needs and rights met is utterly useless. So the only real freedom you'll ever see is if almost everybody enjoys a basic level of freedom *provided they have food in their stomachs and a shelter over their heads* . OP is right btw and presents a rational argument for these contests.

In qualsiasi veicolo quando si aumentano i cavalli bisogno inserire più combustibile, in teoria e ben possibile mettere esattamente la quantità di combustibile giusta così tutto viene bruciato ( il fumo nero e dovuto a combustibile incombusto) ma quando si aumentano i cavalli si aumentano anche le temperature all'interno del cilindro, inserire più combustibile del dovuto fa sì che si tengano le temperature sotto controllo ed evitare che il motore si fonda. Purtroppo però poi ci sono i cretini che modificano le proprie macchine apposta per fare fumo. Capisco chi lo fa per ragioni di competizione ma chi vedo per strada con macchine che sputano fumo mi danno l'impressione di essere degli ignoranti

La motrice della nuova recat ha un solo turbo grosso, però gira tra 1700 e 2200 cavalli... l'ho vista 3 settimane fa a Piacenza in officina, è mostruosa!
