I. I gave up my legal dreams in college due to severe medical issues (ive had 25 major surgeries and grew up in hospitals). I was all As in my pre law classes in college and remember thinking "I could do this and never have kids!" Then they got into rules and decorum and as a person with medical issues I realized, you cannot be a chronically ill person because you cannot just call in sick. So I became a retail manager where I can be off during the week for appointments, I've done well I'm a 59 year old working full time and I'm on dialysis... I love love this show , it's so honest and fascinating! Just a little sad that I gave up those dreams. I gave up my dreams of being a lawyer too, but I did it because my mother had medical issues. She had a major stroke when I was in highschool, but she needed full time care forever. I still went to college, but I didn't go for a rigorous field so I had some time to help with her. She's 74 now and is needing more and more help every year as she gets weaker she can't even get onto the toilet from her wheelchair by herself anymore and my dad has become disabled too in the past few years so he can do less and less. To top it off I'm also a single father to a teenage boy. Lol. My life is now taking care of others😮😊

She was shaking so bad & could barely speak (we had also been to court about a dozen times to obtain a P.F.A. on him). So I was writing everything she should say in case I got a chance to at least give her the paper. What the defendant did was turn a perfectly legal personal transaction (pay someone not to disclose a personal matter that involved no criminal conduct) into a slew of criminal acts in order to engage in tax fraud, so he could evade income taxes and take a business deduction to boot. He even engaged in a criminal conspiracy to screw himself, when all the defendant needed to do was take the win (the paid silence) and just pay the normal income taxes on the money. I’m betting the individual he paid took care of her taxes on the windfall. If anyone else had done this, I would think the prosecution was imagining it all, because nobody is that bizarrely inept. But it’s this particular defendant, so after all we’ve learned I’d have to say guilty. He screwed Wisconsin into higher state taxes to pay for his Foxconn debacle that imploded shortly after the golden shovel went back into his limousine. Everything he touches ends in failure, except Ivanka.

The other crimes are relatively simple - the $130K reimbursement was actually over $400K deposited into Cohen's account, they worked out how much income tax Cohen would owe(lots), and factored that into his payment(it was over double!) - which is tax fraud, state and federal. Providing something of value to a political campaign and not disclosing/conspiracy to not disclose - another crime, very simple. The business fraud was invented to help cover up the other crimes.

For a lawyer he does no real research on this, he just watches MSM, which we all know is biased and downright lying to us on a daily basis. There are many things to be disappointed in Trump so it sucks that y'all are making me defend him. The guy is dangling Biden's political prisoners in front of us so we'll vote for him. He should never have pushed the vaccines either. These reasons are why I'm not voting and I am on neither side because the 2 party system is a delusion now and I'm not sure if there ever was 2 sides honestly.
