It’s time for us East Africans to discover the West Coast of Africa honestly. Our beautiful continent is full of amazing people. I’m blessed to be African and proud. One love
I miss Hargeisa. 2019 i have been Hargeisa 30 days and eating that place 30 days. Wonderful. Very nice place. If you want meet local people go to that place. They have fancy restaurant but me i prefer locale.
I like how she said sweet and savory: I like how you said no to the spoon @Wode. So if I should drink two cups of camel milk a day I will stay young and strong? Yo, Nigerians in house do we have camel 🐪 milk around ? Good to see Africans coming back home and appreciating home. Don’t stress about something you have no control of indeed. When it’s time the time will be.
Always so excited when maya post a video and yeah I guess I will be among the first 100th to comment this time ❤️❤️❤️and wow the food looks tasty and Somalians are always so friendly people even here in the U.K..
better to say somalis thats the good way to mediate. because somalis has different countries as well. Somalilanders or short form Landers, Djiboutian, somalian, ethiosomali, kenyansomalis, they are all somalis. but
Camel Milk is more expensive than crude oil and Somali people have more than 7 million camel, half of the world's camel population. Exporting the milk and sharing it to the world may be beneficial for somalis.
Wode maya I have big respect for you from Mogadishu Somalia 🇸🇴 I hope you have been Lasgeel in Somaliland It is a place that you can see Somali history about 7000 years One 🖤 to my Afrikan brothers and sisters
My brother, God has blessed you. This video touched my soul. You are connected to your spirit. The Universe has elevated you to the next level. This video is authentic and genuine. Many blessings unto you and your family.
Eye opener to say the least! Beautiful people, peaceful and beautiful country. I’m from Eritrea, and watching the video I had to remind myself that it isn’t Eritrea but Somaliland. I even have a cousin who looks exactly like the guy who joined you all for the meal at the restaurant, amazing! Ok, this video ended abruptly, part 3 coming ??

Yes agree, if everything becomes modernized that is westernized, we will truly loose our African touch. My best memories till date is when I visited my grandma's farm cottage as a child and everything was fresh and natural. That is priceless.
African RU-vidrs - Please wake up and turn your attention to a problem that your generation will have to deal it more - The illegal mining and unruly behavior of foreigners specifically the CHINESE. Some of you have changed from AFRICA to the world to corporate sponsors. One is only covering a house he is building. Africa has bigger problems and the superficial coverage by you guys will only hurt your generation. I appreciate the showcase. What is the showcase if soon AFRICA becomes unhabitable? Do any of you think the Chinese will welcome you in their country to do what they do on our continent. PLEASE start putting a spotlight on this because the African Union or governments are useless. You RU-vidrs can reach more people directly. There are more than 10 million Chinese. They are rude and treat Africans badly in their own country. Do you accept that? Start by teaching them how to behave in YOUR COUNTRIES! Wake up and stop doing superficial shit.
@@tuforu4 and how far has Africa come with that mentality? It’s time people understand that the world is moving forward while Africa stays behind because of what I’d like to call it -ancient mentality-
Wow small world, Andy from Trinidad, I grow up in Somaliland as my dad is from there and my family are from Port of Spain Trinidad. Trinidad is amazing you could find every nation on earth, Wode Maya he is an amazing man I wish he would come and see the beauty of Trinidad and Tobago.
This video was so beautiful. The somailand Queens were very versed at the Queen at the end spoke some home truths. For all afrikans abroad to take in consideration
I cannot go without banana, I love them so I am more Somali😂😂😂😂. I was shocked to discover that some people eat rice with sour milk. Indeed culture is different

Bullshit! Somali region of Ethiopia, Somaliland and Somali inhabited North Eastern Province of Kenya has the world's largest camel population, not Somalia.
Much respect much love from Eritrea 🇪🇷 young boy we have to love each other we have to respect each other we have to support each other our brothers sisters Somaile
Maya, have you ever bumped into a Ghanaian during you East African trips? Let us see what some of these Ghanaians are doing out there one of these days. Keep up the good job
It always depends what you are used to. Either chops sticks, hands or fork and knife it doesn't matter. But for hands you need to clean your hands before eating and after eating, just keep that in mind.
Wode maya does you you knows your Africa’s most respected RU-vid and more than RU-vid educative young generation and waking up all Africa’s people’s ☝🏽🌍👈🏽✊🏿👏🏽🙏🏽💪🏾✌🏽
Woooow camel meat!!!never thought of that. But one thing l do know is if it doesn't pay, benefit America for economic reasons,i.e they don't have camel etc.they demolise it.Cow milk is the worse milk for human consumption.l love dates, have them in a Jay in the kitchen here in England.Cheers.
The perception of Africa is not what it is. Until u walk a mile in our shoes to beautifully experience us, u can only experience us from the naysayers who paint us black for whatever popularity.
This was just beautiful to see this side of the Somaliland Culture. The food looked inviting well prepared with love. Wode Maya, the unselfishness, manners and humility in you are indeed a blessing. I loved how the ladies expressing love of home, the contents of their culture and Africa as whole after which joined by the young man. All appreciated. ❤💖😉
Somalia was once a thriving banana hub for East Africa, with exports headed to Europe and the Middle East (As far as Palestine, which they still have it and call it موز صومالي - Somali banana). Somali bananas were renowned for their taste - with a unique combination of extra sweetness and creamy texture. #FreePalestine
She's so eloquent. I have a classmate here in the Philippines who's somalian by descent but Ugandan by birth. She's so eloquent as well. I love seeing different parts of Africa. Filipinos also eat rice with their hands and I love eating with my hands as well whenever I visit my favourite Filipino restaurant called MANG INASAL. I'm Nigerian by the way 😊. I enjoy your videos WODE MAYA ❤
Thanks for always sharing these amazing experiences with us Wode Maya 🙌🏾🙌🏾 I agree with the lady, we don’t have to modernize everything- that’s culture 🔥❤️
Sesame is also high in calcium. We use sesame oil in our cooking (and as topping) and eat sesame seeds too, along with camel meat and camel milk. This gives our elderly very strong bones. Bone diseases are rare in the Somali region.
It tastes like whatever you imagine fat tastes like..lol I will go with 100 Camels... I love her personality so down to earth great JOB. WODE MAYA MEETS LOTS OF COOL AND INTERESTING PEOPLE. MUCH LOVE TO ALL SOMALI PEOPLE,AFRICA TO THE WORLD. I WONDER WHERE IS YHE NEXT STOP IS?🤔
