We bought the Polo Sedan TSi when it was recently launched and the vehicle reminds me a lot of the Jetta. The TSi engine is plus, we reside in a mountainous area and the engine have enough performance to keep up with the body. We have a planned trip to PE from Nelspruit this December and I am sure the boot will easily take on the luggage of 5 family members. Our son used the Polo for two weeks driving 106km per day on the open road, the fuel consumption was 5.8l per 100km. He is a economical driver with a soft right foot. When using the cruise control on the open road the gearbox tend to shift between gears which is irritating and engine noise is transferred to the cabin. Our Local VW dealer offered the Polo with a R21K discount and we paid R400K for the car. Compared to the Polo, the Polo Sedan offer value for money at R421K.
