Midweek ride and catch up on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 If you enjoyed this check out my playlist for my Royal enfield Classic 350, thanks! • Royal Enfield Classic 350
My great uncle was in the 44th Royal Tank Regiment and was a Desert Rat prior to returning to the UK to prepare for D Day landings , Killed in Action 6 th Sept 1944 in Belgium on the push back ,Had he survived he would have made operation Market Garden
Hi Alan my mums father - my bloodline grandfather was a Gordon Highlander and killed in Holland Nov 12th 1944, they were trying to reach the Para regiments, I did my bike in tank regiment for my late father who was a gunner on Centurion tanks in 1950’s 😁👍
Glad you enjoyed it Willie 😁👍 August is the month to film here in East Lothian with all the golden fields, why it’s know as the garden of Scotland with its rich Agriculture 😁👍
Hey Bruce! Thanks for the mention, that's very kind. Your channel was an inspiration in getting some videos up and making it feel ok to start messing about with a new bike 😃 The new helmet mic is working out really well I think, the real-time commentary is great (and saves you time having to do it later too I bet). All the best, Glyn
Hi Glyn, your welcome as think it’s ace what your doing, in previous comments I’ve been saying how is there not a cottage industry selling all the stuff we owners and others have been sourcing to personalise our bikes, they can be built in Mikitary, bobber, trials, street scrambler, cafe racer, the ideas for a custom build is endless 😁👍👍👍 Cheers Bruce
Hi Bruce. You have probably already sorted the mono/stereo dilemma. I had that with my vids, when I bought the DJI. I use Davinci Resolve 18 for editing, and just change it from mono to stereo in there, but remembering is key 🙄😂 The thing about the Classic 350’s, they are so photogenic, any excuse…….stop……click 😅 I keep saying, in all my vids, including reviews, when I go under a bridge have to rev it and say “it’s law”, has to be done 😎 Great vid.
Gee I have to do a 3 point turn, there. Lol being (short arse) Glyn Owen, is very decent guy, breath o fresh air. Your bike just sounds as sweet as a nut. Love to join you there for a run out. That’s why i will just keep hold of my Meteor (Bumble). Used prices have dropped, mine was 2nd hand, I got decent deal, over new, service was done, and had heated grips, which I would have added, anyway. Got fly screen fitted, in with the deal……it’s a keeper. Enjoy your week off Bruce, am going Ullapool on 16th then Lochcarron on 17th. If Dry???? Will take Bumble. The Johnny Cash Duo playing in Caledonian on the Wednesday night, then again in Lochcarron hotel, following night. Calum, said if dry, he might take his Harley,so hang about Ullapool if, a big if, it’s dry😂
Great you can now chat on the bike, but as others have said sound just into the left ear, other than a few moments at 26 minutes, when it switched to the right ear.😊 Looking forward to the drone news, should be fun !
@@Coastriderscotland it’s not a problem, in fact just watched TAYM ‘s latest mutter today and that was only in my left ear. Edit delete the last remark TAYM’s video sound was perfect my hearing aids were playing up, rechecked your video but definitely still out of the left ear only !
Will be heading down your neck of the woods this Sunday for a wee jaunt into Northumberland ( via Culross) for a few days on the bike. Really enjoying your channel ( as a new subscriber) - wish I was doing it on a Classic 350 though! Soon though, soon...keep up the good work!
@@Coastriderscotland I think we are heading further south west ( following part of the Crieff cloverleaf route south). Likewise, if your travels take you up around the Cairngorms anytime, give me a shout 👍
I wonder how many additional Meteors RE would sell if they offered the option of mid-mounted pegs for those of us who don't like the idea of forward pegs. Much as I prefer the classic, I cannot see why it costs so much more just because they have metal mudguards. Brilliant video showcasing the fantastic East Lothian countryside 🤩👍
Thanks Carl, good points on the Meteor, both bikes would look way better with universal alloy Classic mudguards! Surprised not a cottage industry started selling aftermarket kits to re style both models of these superb bikes!
Great day for trail tires. I believe the reason that motor is so enjoyable is that you can use all the power a lot of the time, and it sounds great doing it. It would be fantastic to see you with a Meteor. I've added a dozen or so mods to my yellow fireball. 😁Cheers 🥃
Good video as usual mate. I'm just about to fit the fuelx lite and DNA filter and cover to my classic this week, just to get the improved throttle response and small increase in mid - range power.
We need a street scrambler/ trials version Classic 350! I’m no wondering if I should look at custom building one and then locating sourcing the parts and selling them as a part time business! Seeing as so many folk are interested in these bikes, I’m surprised Hitchcocks are not doing this already! 😁👍
@@Coastriderscotlandyou know, you’re spot on, that is totally genius. The bike already has the vibe of a gently ridden XT500, and with some serious planning a classic 350 street scrambler would be totally awesome. I saw a street scrambled interceptor (belongs to the owner of my local dealership), and that was beautiful if not a bit of a monster (and the mechanic said there was £8k work done on it). I’ve been thinking about this all day and I definitely think you’re on to something, one of those rare moments when I just thought ‘yeah, that’s it’. I’d be interested to see how you go about it, what an awesome RU-vid experience it could be, developing the street scrambler! Meanwhile, I’ve just retired and this could be the perfect project 😊
@@Coastriderscotland Do it Bruce, I’m down in the South Coast, about as far from you as is possible, however I’d be delighted to get involved if you need it (I’m a 62 year old qualified mechanical engineer with passion for bikes).
