Tully Blanchard has got to be THE most underrated wrestler in history. The Four Horsemen, wrestling’s greatest group EVER would not have worked without Tully even though Arn was great in his own right and Flair was the greatest ever.

Richard.............preach the gospel,brother.The Fab Four of Tully,Ole,Ric and Arn were the greatest version bar none.After Tully was blackballed by JCP,the Horsemen became a watered down version of itself with all the different members.The bottom line is the Horsemen are like Kellogg's Corn Flakes.The original is still the best.

Tully Vs Magnum TA in a cage in an "I Quit" match for Starrcade '85 was one of my all-time favorite matches. It was absolutely top notch storytelling and Baby Doll certainly played her part perfectly. Very nearly equal to the Dusty vs. Flair match for the title.

The fans in the Mid Atlantic (and probably everywhere else) already knew Nickla Roberts from the syndicated World Class Championship Wrestling show. She was a great choice for Tully's valet.

We didn't. We had a satellite dish and that's how I saw WCCW tv sporadically. Cable penetration in the Mid Atlantic region in 1984 was small. Even if you had cable there were limited amounts of channels available. I saw more WWWF and later WWF tv via WTTG-5, etc.

At 12 she had to take care of the arena in Lubbock. Clean the kitchen, set up chairs, answer the phone,etc.

Any fan who hasn't seen the old videos of late 84' Mid-Atlantic/World Wide Wrestling where Tully is doing a promo in search of his "Perfect 10" should check them out. Tully with Schiavone or Crockett with the NWA TV Title, his $10,000 dollars, the jewelry and dressed in the fine cloths, and all he needs is his "10" to make it complete! Great Stuff!!

Tully was one of the best heels in wrestling. He had that attitude that came through in the ring and on the mic. Respect the guy now that I'm older, but he was very good at his job.

I can understand why that guy got knocked out by Baby Doll: she was about 6'1" or 6'2" and as a trained wrestler, she could really handle herself. Wouldn't really call her a perfect 10, but she was a pretty woman anyway. She almost towered over Tully, who is as tall as me (5'11").

From Tully's explanation on how she was hired while working in Florida, I always believed after Nickla Roberts left World Class that Gino Hernandez had contacted Tully and put out a good word for her that she was available for work. It seems coincidental she worked with both guys who had previously closely worked together in Texas a few years earlier.

Amazing what several years off steroids can do for someone. Today Tully vs. 25 year ago Tully is an amazing contrast. With that said, I enjoyed watching his time in the spotlight and I am glad he got off the 'roids. Live long buddy, and write a tell all about you and Nickla. We will all read it and be jealous lol.
