It's a 318 2bbl with a mild cam and Flowmasters. Sorted out a myriad of carburetor, vacuum, and ignition issues. Runs like a champ now. Stay tuned for more content on this sweet ride. #plymouth #mopar #moparornocar #318
The styling is so unique. It really turns a lot of heads and the color accentuates the compound curves. I'm partial to this one as I've spent a lot of time getting it to run as good as it looks.😎
They are definitely stylish cars. Stay tuned for when we do a video comparison of my corporate cousin, a 1974 Dodge Charger, with the 1972 Plymouth Satellite. The "King" drove both NASCAR versions of these body styles back in the glory days of stock car racing. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
How nice to see a high quality car that hasn't been cloned into a roadrunner. I love roadrunners, unfortunately there are more on the road today than actually survived.
Can’t Thank You Enough For The Adventure We Went On Getting Her To Live, Breathe Fire, Crap Thunder And Dial Her In To Perfection! Thank You Brother Once Again And Always! 💣💥🏁 😎
I had a 440 built in my 70 Dodge Challenger. With a stall converter . I had it tuned to where you could hear every cylinder fire. Fat hydraulic cam and you would hit the key and it would spark off and just immediately go to idle
@@LongIslandMopars The One that got away that was the one. Sold it back in 2010. For 10 grand. Was a 383 RT. I built the motor myself. Steel crank forged Miller rods. 915 head's. AFR did my port and valves set up. 10To 1 flat top. J/E pistons. Old school single plane manifold. 831 Brad Urban carburetor. 300 horse nitrous. Full crank trigger all MSD. 727 Built by coots custom's. DANA with 430. Gear.
@@RonNorman-qu4qz Wow, that's awesome. I was just at my buddy's shop today and he's working on a customer's 70 Charger R/T with a fully built 440. Does burnouts all day and all night. 😁
Can't ever go wrong with a 440. My car club buddy keeps nudging me to replace the 273 in my dad's 66 Coronet with a 440. Unfortunately, I'm very sentimental and that little 273 belongs in dad's car until it decides to put a rod through the block. Then it'll get whatever I can afford....😎
@@gaetanodetorrice5555 Nice! The 66 Coronet that I have has its original 273. I rebuilt it at 201k miles. Still has a 2bbl but I added a mild Isky cam. Not fast but it's original to the car as my dad owned it from new.
I think it's F8 Green which was typically referred to as dark jade metallic. I may be wrong; it's my friend's car. It'll be featured more on my channel. I'm planning to do a corporate cousins comparison of the 72 Satellite with my 74 Charger. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Stock 318 exhaust manifolds. The engine is a 2bbl and needs a good cleaning. The weather is slowly getting better here on Long Island. Stay tuned for more content on the Satellite. Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@wadecartwright4277 I hear ya but I love my 273 and 318. Grew up with them. Back in the day a friend took a beat 318 out of Polara, built it like a 340, and stuffed it into a plain jane Volare. Had a lot of fun with that sleeper.
