I absolutely love turbocharged small block Fords if you get them right they make awesome power you been on a budget thank you so much for watching my channel
A few times ive taken fuel pump apart and found coatings of the pump motor and rust formed in an a1000 pump. I never put it past the pump to break down
sounds great .running a carb and turbo just works .no computer or fuel injectors loved my carb setup .now itb and holley efi .now need to learn programing .keep up the good work.
Thank you for subscribing to my channel I'm on a beer can budget so I make things I already have work. modifying the carb for boost isn't hard. don't get me wrong I would love a Holley Terminator x just can't afford it right now
I've always liked the 302 but the 351 has so much more potential and it's not that hard to package and the deck height does help as far as rod angle and rod length
Thanks for the question.. it's a C5 with C4 internals it has aftermarket clutches and I've added extra clutches in the direct hub I'll be adding a 6 pinion hub soon
Duuuude, that stang moves and sounds beast! Seems like I’m working out my same kinks ur having too, lol. I just finished fabbing up the power valve to be boost reference and mannnn made all the diff! Question: can you run by ur boost routing such as: Bov? Mine running off of intake under carb and can see it open under vacuum and shut for boost but nooo Swoosh!? I’m wondering if adding a Tee off that and run a hose to my fpr?
There are boost reference power valves available I run my blow off valve to a vacuum tea on the firewall my boost reference for the fuel and for the wastegate are run into the hat and you're probably not going to hear a whoosh unless you're under boost maybe your turbo isn't responding at lower RPMs
NOW go back &git the ol lady&made her fall n LOVE w mustangs!!😎--Tn. Here man-I dig the hell out ye videos!-Keep em comin!-Everbody starts out small time on here!-Keep good content comin&you'll git there!-Love the build!!-Good job sir!
@@brawler3475.0 that’s exactly what I said, a 351w will out pull a 302 by a mile,,, you should look into a 400$ scat crankshaft 3.850 stroke and eagle I-beams for 300$ or h-beams and a set of forged 302 pistons with a 1.605 compression ht. And get the whole assembly balanced up and for a cheap built bottom end you could have 393w and they make a boat load for torque… just letting you know, but heck yeah man your car sounds amazing!!!!
Thing sounds like a beast , dont know what that big thing that was in the jet was but luckily it was an easy fix. Im gonna drive my car up to tennesee this month for ford take over. Just finished putting a vic jr intake on my car and big brakes, new interior so about got it where I want it now so i can enjoy it.
That's friggin awesome man .wish I was able to go myself but work is busy right now.ya I love the way this motor sounds my phone does it no justice thank you for watching and commenting someday I'll make the trip South 😁
I’ve seen a few of your videos since they pop up in my feed sometimes! I have to say the way you were so excited driving the car around after you fixed the problem put a smile on my face! Im in the same boat trying to make my channel grow, I’m actually about to start working on a 351 I picked up to put on my fox body. I just subscribed to your channel and want to say I appreciate the content you make! 😎🤟
Thank you for watching and subscribing to my channel ya I get a little excited when things go right I hope your channel works out for you and grows fast
I was wondering today about the windsor was like and how you liked it Did you use cast rings or molly rings ? I dont think i remember you filing the rings am i right ? How much boost do you think your motor will handle ? 😊
I absolutely love the 351 Windsor I did use Molly rings and they are file fitted to each bore top ring and second ring top ring is 0.028 second ring is 0.030 and believe it or not I have absolutely zero blow by even under boost right now I'm running about 7 lb getting ready to turn it up to 10
@@brawler3475.0 thanks for the free education bro … im gonna stay tuned for the next exciting video .. my motor i had put in wound up having a piston with a bad wrist pin .. so its back out and im putting a different motor together … stock 0.30 roller motor with cast pistons a b cam a stealth intake and some shorty headers … ill run it until my other block gets back from the machine shop with its new sleeve in # 7 cylinder … yeah i know GRRRRRR!!!! One step forward and 2 steps back !!!
@@glennramsey917 from everything that I've been readings they are hyper even if they're not Richard holdener got almost 1100 horsepower and 28 lb of boost on the same short block I am saving up pennies for a forged rotating assembly upgrade
That's one bad little mustang you always have been able to build some bad cars as far back as I can remember brother keep up the great work hopefully I'll see it soon
