äh, maybe I missed that, but why is the lettering on your three instrument displays in German? xD or is that because japanese people like the german language? ^^
@@micooo22 The Mark II needed inspection and de-tune, making it pretty much stock, good for getting it inspected, not so good for getting it sideways. Then it had to be tuned and sorted out, that stuff takes time when you've got a job, family, video editing and 3 other cars to fiddle with as well. The beercan being in no condition to drive takes that out of the picture as well. The beans86 is a working driftcar when he has no alternatives, and his go-to car at the track it's stored at. It doesnt need registration or plates or de-tune before inspection or anything, a solid content provider from day ONE :)
I laughed out loud hearing that. I had no idea how strict it was over there. It’s funny cause in the Midwestern US as long as it isn’t stolen and you pay basic taxes/ insurance basically anything is legal. No inspections or anything where i live.
@@skateecho down here in Southeastern US we have to have an inspection (and an emissions test if your car is OBD2), but they’re incredibly lenient about it. my family’s van has issues with the electrical system, and they pass us anyway lol
In Italy we have 30 years old shitboxes driving up and down the street but an aftermarket silencer on a brand new car is forbidden. If you crash and insurance finds out you're not covered. Pathetic.
@@skateecho just so you can laugh at us a bit... it was discussed whether or not it is illegal to polish fainted headlamps.. and on my last inspection I got in trouble because the "best before" date on the hood dampers was due (on my 2014 car)... and to top it off- we are not allowed to wash our cars at home.. because of environmental laws...
Japan: let's have cool cars ! Alexi: yes ! Japan: let's tune them real good ! Alexi: yes ! Japan: let's make them clean and neat ! Alexi: how about no.
Glad I am able to finally catch a video on release. After a month of binge watch all of your videos I was able to finish last night. Thanks for the great content, love the channel.
This was an awesome track day vlog. Liking the way this car is coming together. Hopefully the oil cooler means a lot more laps. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
You made me smile for the whole thing. Glad you're having fun. If there are still any Mark II's on the market in a few years I might work my ass off to try and import one.
Yeeessss NoriHype! So good to see the Mark II back again! And from the sounds the new spooli boi makes and the way it fries 3rd It's definitely been worth the wait!
This type of videos make me smile at my screen like an idiot, I'm so jealous but at the same time so happy that you're able to do this, I wish I'm able to have this much fun sometime soon. Great video Alexi, thanks for sharing this awesome mkII with us
So glad you made it to Matsuri, gutted we couldn't come from the UK like the last few years. The white PS with the Team Orange door was probably Kohashi! See you next year! :D
That giggle... I remember giggling exactly the same way, when i rolled out my 390PS e36 for the first time after the engine swap. This pure joy... happy for you, mate. Keep going sideways!
Love the upgrades to the Toyota!! All the kool drifting track time. Can wait for the Beercan to return, I wonder if the tuner will add purple somewhere on the car. Keep up the great work!!
i swear i wrote down on your last video before this one that you should upload something and about one hour later this shows up in my notifications :) man i just love watching your videos
