I like the sitdown because it allows me to follow my passion , it is you who creates the pattern . It is a different ball game with stand ups you move the machine not the fabric. You can FMQ on a domestic aswell I have done a similar video on the Janome 8900. But have not posted..This machine will only quilt you can not sew anything else on it . Unlike a domestic machine
