Some people put a twist in the straps on both sides to stop them "buzzing" in the wind, you see the walking floor drivers doing it with the trailers roof sheet straps,. that curtaisider to flat conversion i am not a fan of, look how slim and weak the neck is with no curtain/box structure to help it, beware dropping loaded trailer if its heavy on the front/neck,. oh and thanks for saving me a few quid on my D4drivers medical, keep lovin the volvo, cheers ,.

Another nice post James.. I'm not sure that you are aware that the front mirror under the sun visor has two different positions the whole arm can be pushed upwards to give you better visibility. Hope it helps..

Phew that was a fast paced video with many edits.😃 Driving in that fog is a nightmare. Good you spotted that car which came out of the layby. You are on the ball. Good all your flashy lights are now working. Inappropriate use of the horn, though 🤨 Does your company have a policy as regards to cleaning the scaffolding poles ?

@@thomaselliot2257 yes, fast paced AND a lot shorter than I was expecting 🤣 Yes that car scared the life out of me 😅 There is no incorrect use of the horn on private land!!! And no policy in terms of cleaning. A lot of them will be returned to us with mud/concrete and all sorts over them. But we just scrape/brush it all off before they go back out on hire!

You silly young kid leave your tacho on bed when you book it off you left it on the hammers so you can’t show you were on rest . The vosa will hammer you for that and the other driver how does he check his wheel nuts of a morning he has just passed his test by the looks of him😅

You sound like a pleasant human being! FYI you can leave the tacho head showing whatever symbol you want, it's not recording any data because funnily enough there's no card in it. Performing a manual entry next time you put it in will cover the missing hours, whether that be other work or rest....... I'm surprised you don't already know that being the super trucker you clearly are! VOSA won't care less about it mainly because they don't exist anymore but the DVSA didn't seem too bothered about it either when James was stopped by them in previous videos.
