1993 Mustang, 5.3 swapped, twin Borg Warner S369 turbos - It takes a long time for the boost to come in, the lag is really bad. I had a couple people recommend I change the torque converter to help with spool up. So I removed the 10 inch TCI torque converter (it was rated at 3500 RPM stall speed) and install a 9.5 inch PTC torque converter. The PTC converter is rated at 4000 RPM stall, and uses a 17/0 stator set up.
Once I get the car back on the dragstrip, I'll do another video on how much (if any) the new converter helped spool time.
