I never, not for one second, believed this fight would happen. Uszk completely owns Fury psychologically and events have transpired to make this fight not happen via Furys unconscious.

I am British. If and when the fight happens I will be strongly supporting Usyk. Fury is a very good fighter when he decides he wants to make an effort, but he is an utterly terrible champion.

As someone who loved Fury when he come back from the brink to beat Wilder, I’m so done with him. Strip him of the belt and let someone serious fight for it.

Let Usyk fight Hrgovic and then maybe the likes of Zhang, Parker, Ngannou, Wilder, Joyce or Ruiz and he'll have his legacy with or without Fury

Actually as close as we got I was like " come on, don't tell me I'm gonna be wrong and Fury will prove he has balls" . Ofcourse he doesn't have any balls, but for a second I was wavered.

Kazuki Anaguchi who fought on the undercard and was injured of Naoya Inoue fight in December also tragically passed away from his injury today too. R.I.P, Mr. Anaguchi.

I've watched Tyson from the days watching his fights on Saturday night TV for free. I've always supported him but I've grown tired of all the bullsh17 these last couple of years. I hope I'm wrong but I think he's had his day.

It's mad, but it feels like Fury can keep hold of his WBC belt for as long as he wants to... look at the way the IBF forces fights to happen for its title. People think it's overly strict but I think it's great - it forces decisions to be made there and then and doesn't allow for elongated, drawn-out affairs. Just wish Fury would retire now so we can get all the belts moving.

Now its happened, cries of "i told you so" are totally fair comment. 15 days ahead of the fight too, exactly the same as when Fury ducked the rematch with Klitschko. This is clear evidence of the insanely desperate lengths to which Fury will go, in order to protect his unbeaten record. The man has no integrity and no heart. What's the betting he retires next, to ensure he goes out with the precious '0' intact? If this is a genuine accident, then I am the Messiah.

If Fury wasn’t the kind to contradict himself and change his opinion on a daily basis, this would just be written off as an accident in sparring and left at that.

You would think that a boxer's team would want to protect their fighter from injuries before a big fight, but this is Tyson Fury, so this makes plenty of sense.

The Klitschko rematch was first cancelled cause Fury had an ankle injury, and then cancelled again because Fury had depression. This time a cut. It seems every time he has a motivated opponent in front of him there is always some issue. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Usyk fight never happens cause there may be another bound of depression or whatnot.

Fury has read the book called "The art of war" in other words, a fight avoided is a fight you can't lose.

Boxers need to fight 3 or 4 times a year, making these situations less likely to drag on. Also they would worry less about protecting their 0s.

I mean the plan has been pretty clear for over a year... string Usyk along until time and inactivity does a number on Usyk's main attributes 'speed' and 'reaction times'. Usyk is currently 37... if Saudi want to host this fight during Rhyad Season... then we're looking at November before this fight goes ahead... in which case Usyk will be closer to 38 and he may be expected to take another Mandatory. Cynical but true.
