Ukraine put an end to months of political chaos by swearing in a new president who vowed to restore the country's territorial integrity. Petro Poroshenko, a powerful oligarch before his election, will now have to prove to Ukrainians that he will be able to change the system that made him wealthy while fighting a war against pro-Russia rebels in eastern Ukraine.

SirVixIsVexed Well when you lock your knees, you cut off circulation to your legs, causing your blood to flow abnormally. When this happens, you can't get enough oxygen to your whole body, and therefore you pass out.

TadasG258 When you lock your knees instead of bending them slightly, you're basically giving gravity free reign to pull down blood from your brain to your legs. Brain doesn't get enough oxygen and then you faint.

Wonder if the United States will eventually set up a major base in the Ukraine. Good way to keep Russia in check so they would not even dare invade or step foot inside of Ukraine. The courage and dedication shown by the people of Ukraine to move towards a better future has been incredibly inspiring. As a westerner, I used to be skeptical of integration with Eastern Europe (certain elements of the media do their best scare us), but getting to actually know people from those countries and also seeing what the EU represented to the Ukrainian people has completely changed my outlook. In times when immigration from cultures outside Europe who refuse to integrate or respect our hard-fought core values have caused such division and mistrust in our societies, its uplifting to have 45m people who (mostly) actually want to be part of our society join the fold. As someone who both speaks both Ukrainian and Russian 100%, sometimes the translations are a bit off or don't convey the meaning entirely. At 4:43, he is talking about doing shot of alcohol, in English doing a shot could mean that they are going to film a short interview

To the people who are saying or thinking, "Oh no, just another oligarch": please understand that Poroshenko is a self made man from outside the oil and gas clique that has dominated politics in recent times. Whilst it would have been poetic to have an anti-corruption golden-boy off the maidan accepting the honor, Ukraine needs someone who knows how to work the system to pull them out of this mess. Out of all the candidates, this was absolutely the right choice and a step in the right direction.

See it happen a lot when you don't put a slight bend in you knees and posture. You can move slowly to release pressure in your legs

European's must understand it's eithen Ukraine join's EU or Russia and we have no dream of going there back. Especially after Holodomor,repression's,poverty etc. To all of you who have been to Russia and seen St Petersburgh or Moscow think it's awesome your wrong. Rest of Russia is poor as fuck and amount of cash you can earn in Moscow and St Petersburgh is SUGNIFFICANTLY different from what you can earn 50 km from Moscow.And Poroshenko is a great man who delbt with corruption in his company before and who gave thousand's of people workplace and a good paycheck.
