Amazing, felt really inspired and proud but now that I'm a dad of a little girl it makes me sad to see how that young woman's life has been taken away in a sense and what she now has to concern herself with / think about. I hope it's a very short war

That tank killed 62 not 24. The small rings which is on the barrel is for 1 vehicle destroyed and the bigger rings is for 10 groups of vehicles destroyed. The rings are called Kill Rings. Edit which they were first used in WWII, mainly by the Germans. I have seen some pictures with German tanks with them. Edit I knew some of this information but I learn some more from Ryan McBeth.

However, NATO was not dissolved. It was the opposite. NATO grew in power, in territorial extension and in the number of allied countries. In this war Mr. Putin is DEFENDING his homeland. Mr. Putin is fighting today against only ONE Country (Ukraine), cuz if he doesn't fight Ukraine today, then tomorrow he will have to fight against 30 countries that make up NATO. At the end of WWII, NATO had 8 allied countries. During the height of the Cold War, NATO already had 14 countries in total. Today, when the USSR and Communism no longer exists, there are 30. I must say that I'm very impressed with these Ukrainian people, most of them civilians, standing up and giving their all for their people and their country. Their courage is inspiring. I was smiling through most of this video about the guy who captured his very own tank! It's his tank and he gets to keep it tax free!!

T-80 is actually one of the most advanced russian tanks. Whoever left it abandoned gave them quite a present. They do require a lot of maintenance though, hopefully Ukrainians can keep it up and running
mud sucks.. ukraine and russia have had to ditch vehicles cause they get stuck in mud then take fire.. safest way to proceed when that happens is just ditch the vehicle and retreat.. they have enough vehicles on hand to give tank crews a new tank and just send them off again.

That captured vehicle is an extremely valuable asset, Its soviet made so the Ukrainian army mechanics are familiar with it, Ukraine has ammunition that it uses because Ukraine's own tanks have the same "family" of main guns and its a fairly "modern" tank at least by Russian standards. You can be sure they are giving it the maintenance it needs.
