I only recently became aware that people ship these characters, and fair enough. Looking back I can see how people might come to that conclusion. But I like that a good platonic relationship between opposite genders. It doesn't happen enough in media.
True, but they are only distantly related, like second cousins, or first cousins once removed, or something. I don't really ship them, but - for most cultures - relations between distant relatives like that aren't a massive problem - so the ship isn't necessarily dead

Dewey x Webby broke SPOILERS : In the finale Webby is revealed to be Scrooge’s daughter making Dewey and Webby second cousins the reason why second is because now Donald and Della are the older cousins of Webby ( they’re even more closer now that they are related )

Whenever Dewey and Webby were together, I thought they were, always them best scenes in the whole series. I really hoped they kind of got one Become a couple. Now both are family, just different than I had hoped. Maybe someday, in another series (in the same universe, of course) it will be something with the two of them.

Maybe this season and season 2 had their moments, until something crazy happened in the last adventure. Maybe the triplets and Webby are cousins now, but i have an idea after this: There's something interesting after the last adventure: Meanwhile the clone (Webby/April) is having a normal life with Dewey, Scrooge and the others, there's a mysterious girl who's very similar to Webby/April, she is the real Webby Vanderquack, (the only girl from Vanderquack family) 🦆💗🦆💗

I always felt this was a queer friendship. In my opinion, Webby is Sapphic and Dewey is either bi or aro/ace. The team couldn’t do much in terms of representation so this might have been the best thing they could do.
