I also think Bodyweight locomotive exercises like various types of crawls, animal flows etc.are great (and equipment free) for a home Bodyweight workout. Get your cardio and strength training all in one
Great video! I have a hallway where 2 doors of slightly different size are in front of one another... That means both doorframes are slightly oit of line with one another in one side... That makes the distance between the 4 posts of the doorframes to be different between all of them... I stand between them and push with punches and kicks as hard as i can, and change from one doorframe to another to make the distance change... That way i do overcoming isometrics for all my martial arts techniques by trying to push against the house eith perfect form...
For shinobi training. Let me know if its true that they used sunflowers or hemp for jump training. And the whole naruto run... Thanks stud! Im having a baby in january and this has been on my mind and was going to start tactical barbell 1 and 2. Edit: I meant thank you for the encouragement for home workouts. GL with your baby!
In Clint Emerson's 100 Deadly skills books, he details a variety of ways to use a heavy bag. Carries , squats, drags , and ground striking worked into a circuit. Could be something to try.
@@TheBioneer I'm at 40 lbs plates with pull ups attached with a chain on with a dip belt in the gym somebody said holy fuck that guys got a 40 plate dangling from his nut sack.. I made a oops and fell laughing couldn't stop actually had to leave the gym for a bit
ALL STOP! Check that brick facing and make sure you've anchored that bar into something secure!!! (...and CONGRATS!!! on the new addition to your family!)
Congrats Adam. You're looking like Henry Cavill in man of steel 2013. Can't wait for you to show us some routines and calisthenics. Thanks for another great video
Just means it will be more challenging doing chin ups after the freezing rain hit the bar. For safety reasons I wouldn't recommend it. But this is Spartan training :)
With a garden like that, you might want to incorporate jungle warfare training into your programme; or maybe paintballing with creosote, for the fence. 🙈You must be renting? 😜 That said, it is great having videos spoken in the Queen's English and with no tediously long and irrelevant introductions. Great work fella, thanks.
Alright I have to ask, what is that grey Metal bar thing you use on the pull-up bar, as well what you used for you isometric holds as well? As I’m curious to see if I can purchase one, but I don’t know the name of it.
awesome channel bro, been following your journey for a while. Love your mindset when it comes to training. I've recently gotten into more body weight training myself, great way to switch things up. keep killing it man and congrats with the baby!
This video was time perfectly I'm starting a new job and I'm going to have to do more training at home. I also have two different weighted vests one weighing 40 lbs the other weighing 20 lbs. The 40 lb is easily adjustable but bulky. I also have a set of dumbbells. Those items along with my pull-up bar should definitely give me a decent at home workout. Thanks for the great video
Love it, man! Congratulations, by the way. My second son was born late January, and about six months ago my training has all moved to my dirty ol' basement, my small garden area, and a nearby park. It'll be great to just see some updates on how your home training has been progressing every couple months. Thanks for the great videos and the inspiration, Scott
@@TheBioneer Also, if you have a book list to pass along to us, I'm sure many of us would be grateful! You can put a link up to Amazon, and maybe get some cash money from them as a result. Love your channel!
You should consider adding a double end bag as an extra option as far as martial arts training. They are inexpensive and easy to set up with a weight and a bar. They also move around in a way that can really help for training to deal with moving targets.
Congratulations! It can be a challenge for sure to get your workouts in with a new born. But it is worth it. They are a blessing! For me it is more fun now that my kids enjoy working out with me. God bless
Again: congrats on the baby! That’s very exciting! Also, I find it insanely cool how you went from working out in a gym like everyone else, to a nightwing style, at home training program. Would you ever consider making s video on how you got from there to here?
I've a question in regards to reps on push/pull sets. You mention in either your book or another video that 200+ push ups is a elite level workout in terms of push-ups. If you was to apply the same for say pull ups or horizontal rows, what would the rep range be? Loved the channel, book was great, some great new insights to go on 👍
Good video sir.. I train at home has I'm a single father with 2 kids.. I have a pull-up bar and gym rings + some dumbbells..i have just the small push-up bars so is it worth getting the parallettes they better..?
Boom!! The Bioarena!! Such Dedication; amazing! Looking forward to more of your insightful videos in the future, but until then wishing good fortune and blessings for you and your whole family and the new journey ahead bro!😎 *Also do be sure to your secured the pullup bar as the wall it's on isn't a breeze block
Does the pull up bar hold up to the elements? That's my only concern training outside, is that the equipment won't last long being exposed to rain, ice, etc.
Oh that depends a lot on your goals! Spartan training has some cool ideas but is quite specialist and more about toughening up. Between Batman and nightwing it really depends if you want more size and power (Batman) or agility (nightwing). Definitely would have to tone them down though to be doable for us regular folk!
Oh baby! New vid from Bioneer. I love your vids man. Thanks for the ideas. I want to implement more body weight stuff into my routine since I watched your Arrow video just a couple days ago
I want a wall mounted pullup bar similar to that. But i want to do muscle ups. How is the distance between you and the wall? Considering that you swing when doing a muscle up
Congrats on the kid!! you "might" be able to lean that ladder against the wall and use it like a monkey bar of sorts. I tried it completely horizontal and it was great for a few times but mine started to bend. I need to reinforce it to work reliably but yours may be a better ladder, you may be lighter. etc. looking forward to the Nightwing vid. My biggest questions for you are examples of how you work all these disciplines into a weekly training program. I am interested in many areas as well but don't have all day to train like a pro athlete. Thanks, Bro, Great work as always.
Good luck with the little one. Mine is 4 months old now and I haven't been to the gym since 2 months before she was born. I'm now sporting a dad bod and not liking it. Your videos are great, please try to keep up the good work and one day I'm sure I'll break this bad cycle and get back to it
Thanks a lot! Lol that is an omen! I've been warned it's hard work... Congrats on the little one though and good luck when you make your triumphant return!
Awesome video as usual man! Where in the UK do you live? It looks gorgeous. I always love the outdoor footage with the lake and fields around you. Thank you for all your awesome information
Wish you all the best with your child, could u please make a video on the progressions on how to do calisthenics things like the muscle up hand stand etc
Workout bands! Definitely recommend them, they mirror the natural strength curve, take up little to no room and can be really taxing. Great vid as always :)
First, congratulations again, on the new edition of your family! I hope he or she is born healthy and happy. Second, great idea for putting the last three videos and their methods together into an outdoor gym.
Thank you :-D And yeah I love researching out there stuff then finding ways to apply it. There's a lot of stuff you can't take from Spartan training (no thanks to the soup!) But training outdoors is something you see time and time again in warrior cultures and it's easy enough to replicate :-)
