just out of interest, what's the difference between this and an old f4 fc running set usb_hid_cdc = on? Is there much latency cos with this f4 fc setup i get loads and it's annoying

This isn't a receiver, you need to connect a receiver for it to work

@@FAQUERETERMAX yeah agreed but tx rx is also basically the same hardwarewise plus vi have a usb port on the fc so enable the serial on the usb.... We are usually locating the multiprotocol capability at the rx end - but the tx end would make a lot of sense as well. Thx for answering - :-) appreciated

Any plans to make wireless VTX? Or even VTX+Transmitter RX AIO. Stick it into HDMI and USB - and you don't have to be umbilically connected with all sorts of cords - just sit on a couch and fly

Nice work guys! If you have an old flight controller you can also use it as joystick with Betaflight but it only works with F4 and F7. I made a branch quite some time ago to make it work for F3 as well here github.com/vever001/betaflight, in case anyone is interested. That may even work with F1, I haven't tried that yet.
