Fully agree. Didn't mind tournaments from 5, but 4 has a lot more combos people can pull off, and the roster is just as big. Hope 6 tournaments will be better than 5 at least
@@somemore9784 if you’re talking about Eternity, then honestly just let it go, at a certain point Ive just stopped caring about the trans thing. I still call Bridget a “he” in Guilty Gear so it really doesn’t affect me at all. If the non-playable announcer that has no meaning other than to be a quick guide to the hub is getting you upset then just don’t bother with it, it’s really not that big of a deal.
SF4 is like Hyper Fighting, Super Turbo, Alpha 2/3, EX2+, 3rd Strike or any other fighting game considered to be one of the greatest. It can never truly die.
@@sliding_by8607 may be true, but it's the street fighter 6 announcer saying all the moves through commentary, not zangief himself. it's unlikely that green hand will return ):
They gotta re-release SF4 with rollback. (Also maybe a balance patch that nerfs elena’s healing & ERyu’s damage but you can version select to go back to v2014…) I bet that the PC player base would sky rocket into the high hundreds / mid thousands. It would also be dope to release it on al major consoles including switch. Crossplay out of the question of course. Sadly that will never happen. They still haven’t even removed GFWL from Street Fighter x Tekken 😢
Sf5 was so boring to watch. Everyone picks the same characters and there's only one way to play each. Sf4 you could really tailor your character to make it your own
Yeah it's the best to get into compared to other sf games and other fighting games. I always dislikes alot of games where the only way to win is to do combos that you have to spend months perfecting like mk
Can I ask. What was the issue with 5? Not asking to troll because I actually never played 5. The last consoles era I was playing was Xbox 360, Wii and PS3 so I stopped gaming in my late 20's and now in my early 40's I only seen 5 on youtube. I grew up with SF2 and lived the arcade scene so that is special to me. I did own and play 4 back in the day but I was already in my late 20's and real life was busy. I may buy a new console for 6. I like what I seen so far but I hear a lot of similar comments about 5 .
@@danieldiggs9574 Its for the lake of Freedom, everyone play the same way because of the mecanics that don't allow you to play your own style. And it is very boring to watch. In Sf6 For exemple juggles , Parry and drive dash allow you to play the way you like and thèse mecanics are general to every character
For me in regards to 5 I didn’t like it because the gameplay and mechanics just felt weird. All the characters had one play style to work with around their v-triggers. So it was just either get the v trigger then optimal combo or avoid being caught by it. That’s what I got from playing when I tried champion edition out. Why I liked 4 so much was timing and execution Gameplay Every player used to play their certain character a certain way so you would know that player by playstyle daigos ryu or airs, tokidos akuma or infiltrations
@@weaponx8263 i’m not being unforgiven my friend I’m talking about as a fighting game street fight four and third strike way more technical why you ask? One frame links street fighter five had children and a dog doing combos enough said
